House Party

Swampy is hosting a Housewarming Party for JulieBug and Tiggerlane. I thought I was going to come up with something totally creative. HA! It would come as no surprise as to what my first gift for these lovely ladies is...
Mimosa! Yum yum!

These 2 trees are in my yard, the previous owners planted them. I do not know what they are except that they are the same kind of tree and their fall foliage is just breathtaking!
This picture looks hazy, it is just that I was facing the sun that is starting to get low in the sky...so it is actually more like rays of sunshine!
Good luck with the finishing touches on your new homes. Cheers!

Mmmmm mimosas. That's what got me through my wedding day. If only I had kept drinking them throughout the rotten marriage that followed....

I have one of those trees, I think. Same shape anyway and it's a Flowering Pear Tree (decorative, not fruitful). Does yours have white flowers in the spring? Do the branches sweep upwards? It's a very common tree for builders to use.

Yum! Mimosas!! I am going to need a few of those to get moved. Moving is not my favorite thing to do. Thank you!!!

Mimosas...a perfect way to celebrate a big move or celebrate anything else for that matter.

Oh good, this goes along with my gift (a place for the wine). Great minds think of very cool things (and alike). :D

Mimosas are one of my FAVORITES!! LOVE!

And you KNOW I need trees - correct me if I'm wrong, Pamela, but aren't these Bradford pears?

MANY THANKS!

Wonderful gifts. I love colourful trees in all the seasons (here we don't have much colour in winter, but I love evergreens). Something to drink while looking out at the colourful trees is great too.
