I did it! I posted every single fucking day in NOVEMBER and I'm spent!
I will be taking the weekend off to recover, I'll be back for Robinella's Fun Monday. If you haven't signed up yet get your hiney over there right away!
No drink post today but you can bet your bottom dollar I will be getting my drink on tonight, nothing fancy just beer. I may be self medicating all weekend as I am all alone with the kids until Wednesday. Good times.(insert sarcasm)
Oh Crap, I forgot to remind everyone that there is still 2 more days to vote in my poll. I'm pretty sure the majority that read this have already voted and I thank you for your input! Karisma left me a comment about an AWESOME blog title "A Bugs Life" I really like that, it goes perfectly with my name! I am too afraid of Disney and Pixar suing my ass if I used it!

Real Life Curriculum
Melissa tagged me for the Real Life Curriculum meme, I do not know what the official title is but that is what I'm going to call it. The Rules are: Devise a list of 5-10 courses you would take to fix your life. It's more fun to be in classes with friends, so include one class from the person who tagged you that you'd also like to take. Tag 5.
Melissa did such an amazing job with this, I am just warning you now that mine will be lame!
First is the class I would like to take from Melissa. As much as I relate to the "Single Parenting for Married People" I have already mastered the skills she mentioned so I am going with...
"Seven Strategies for Dealing with your Nosy Neighbors Maybe you, too, have a tree that your neighbors find offensive, or maybe you're just pissing them off because you don't bring in your trash cans right after the trash guys come, at 6:30 am. You ingrate. Whatever it is, this class can help you with tried and true methods like "Ducking Whenever They Walk Past Your Kitchen Window" and "Making Evil Comments About Their New Astroturf Lawn To Anyone Who Calls Your House". By the end of the quarter, you'll be ready to dodge and snark your way around your own neighborhood without a smidgen of guilt."
Now 4 from me....
Time Management Strategies Do you find yourself running out of time? Do you feel like you never get everything checked off your to-do list? Have you ever looked at the clock and exclaimed," Holy shit where the fuck did the time go?" Then this class is for you!
Mixed Drinks 300 This is an advance course in how to make the lesser known alcoholic beverages. You know you want to learn how to make a Pink Fuzzy Pussy.
Follow through for Beginners Do you start things that you never finish? Perhaps 5 loads of clean folded laundry that you never got put away and you just dig through the basket looking for THE pair of jeans you want to wear. Maybe you told your child no video games until next weekend and one day later let them have the game boy just so you could have some peace and quiet for fucks sake! This class must be taken in conjunction with Time Management Strategies or else you'll be royally screwed!
Selective Hearing 101 The kids do it to you now it's time to learn how to give them a taste of their own medicine! This course also includes techniques on proper ways to ignore without being neglectful, and how to effectively tune them out.
I am going to tag....

Rear View and a Thank You
Every single one of you was too sweet yesterday. I'm OK, I was just typing out a few thoughts. My first attempt at a post is what turned the light bulb on for me to realize I had taken something personally and I was getting defensive and that is why I deleted it. Not being able to write what I was wanting without getting defensive I just opted to write down thoughts of how I was feeling instead. I am aware I can write whatever the fuck I want, but I didn't want to give those feelings any more energy or fuel. Know what I mean? The topic still might come out if I can get it down without those feelings. As tempting as it might be to blame WT, he had nothing to do with it.
All of you have no idea how much your kind words have touched me, it is just so amazing to me the amount of support and genuine concern I felt from your words.
On with the show...
It really does!

Don't get me wrong, the war in Afghanistan in my opinion was totally justified, but the war in Iraq...not so much.
Happy Hump Day! Only 2 more days of Nablofuqu!!

Skip this
This is my second attempt at writing a post for today, I deleted the first.
As much as I try not to take things personally I still do. I also get defensive rather quickly.
I bummed, I am drained.
As far as I am concerned I have made it through Nafuckoff, tomorrow is bumper stickers and Thursday and Friday can be one fucking sentence for all I care.
I need a break. I need to go.

Fun Monday Project Incomplete
Today's Fun Monday Hostess is Blue Momma and she asked to see our unfinished projects. My life is one big unfinished project, especially with 3 boys age 10, 4 and 3! I was having trouble with this one all they way up til this morning. I don't sew, cross stitch, crochet, scrapbook, make crafts, NOTHING! I do cook but an unfinished cooking project sounds like it would be gross. I went a tad overboard this morning. Plenty of photos as was Blue Mommas request. Let's get started shall we?!We moved in our house a year and 3 months ago. My family's photos are still not up on my walls... 7 frames in the first photo and 10 frames in the 2nd photo.

I bought these in July. I am saying this is my hubbys project as he is the computer geek. I have left them on top of his CPU now so that he can make us some cool address labels!
On the Art filled F.M. I mentioned my kids art and how I wanted to frame a few....
All but 2 were made by my oldest son. I have plenty works of art from my younger 2 I have a collage of their art....
Wall Art! That is not even all of their works of art either! This is an unfinished project as I need to erase all of the art! The K-state wildcat my hubby stenciled on our oldest sons walls. He made the stencil himself. He is so talented! Here you see the border I bought during the first few weeks of moving in here. It matches the shower curtain, rug, trash can, soap dish, and toothbrush holder in my boys bathroom.
They decided to decorate themselves! Here are 2 unfinished hole patches. The first needs to be painted and the orange peel added. The 2nd still needs one more coat of the puddy patching stuff and then painted and peeled.

Here we have a collage of never ending housework...which is a project as far as I am concerned!1. pile of paper to shred 2. One days worth of dirty dishes 3. & 4. Dirty laundry 5. clean clothes that need folding 6. clean in dryer to be folded 7. 1 basket folded needs to be put away,1 basket clean needs folding 8. folded clothes awaiting to be put away 9. another basket of clean laundry needing folding.

Here is the saddest project I never started.
My mom sent these to me within a month after my first son was born. I had 2 more chances to use them. I could use it on my youngest who is 3 but how fair would that be to the older two?If you made it all the way down here please leave me a comment and then go back to Blue Mommas to check out more unfinished projects!
Update: I appreciate your suggestions to use that bald mans eraser but it is not magic on my walls. I'll give you that it just might get the pencil drawings off but it was used on the wall with the purple wildcat and as you can see even with MY elbow grease it did not come off. I have tried all 3 that he has for sale.

I Got Mail!
I was home yesterday but somehow I missed the delivery person. This afternoon my hubs went outside to have a smoke check the mail. He came back in with a package that he said was on our front porch. You can click on any of the pictures to get a closer view....
Please excuse my lack of Photoshop skills.
It is my package from Robinella!!!
When I opened up the box I saw these beautiful pieces of tissue paper...
Here are the 2 items in the box...
The envelope with my name on it had this lovely card inside...
This lil note was tucked inside the card....
Yes, I was her 5000th reader on the blog she deleted, she had tried to get my address prior to that for her name that hat contest....though I didn't get it 100% correct I told her my Grandpa called his a piss cutter.
These were the rest of the beautiful cards she sent me! Aren't they gorgeous? See the K in the middle of the flower on the first card?
Here is what was in the green box....
It's the cutest lil Christmas Schooner I have ever seen! I am calling it a schooner but I could be wrong.
Robinella, THANK YOU for my wonderful gifts!! I have a thing for stationary and Christmas ornaments ;) I think it's an addiction! I will enjoy!!

Rock Chalk
On my drive home today from the country I saw one wild turkey, 3 deer, and passed 5 pick-up trucks with drivers wearing hunters orange. I feel sorry for the deer and that turkey.
I have been doing endless laundry today. Hey maybe that could be my unfinished project for Blue Momma for this coming FM!
My butter is melting, the oil is heating, the wings have been rinsed. I know I am a K-state fan but I am a native Kansan so for tonight I will be cheering on KU they are undefeated this season, ranked No. 2 and playing No.4 Missouri. We will be eating hot wings and drinking beer! I LOVE Football! Go Jayhawks!

T-day Update
A small update to my Blah post. Last night I called to check in on one of my friends, who is more like family...her hubby was my hubby's best friend...he died last December. Her plans were to be at her folks for Thanksgiving. I was calling to see how things were going and to my surprise she wasn't there and was in fact here! Her parents unexpectedly had to go to Dallas for a few DR appointments so she came back home. Why am I telling you all this? This means I get to have Thanksgiving with friends and family...or friends that are family...either way we get to share the day with loved ones, and it gets to be special for the kids. My hubs gave me a hard time...he said something like "You couldn't be thankful with your husband?" I could have, and I am very thankful for him, I was just very sad that we were not going to be sharing the day with friends and family. My fondest childhood memories are of the Family Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings with Aunts, Uncles, cousins. We were not a big family,my Mom's folks had 3 girls, and there were 7 grandchildren. My hubby and I are only children. Our boys do not have Aunts or Uncles, that saddens me greatly. Our closest friends have become family. What's that saying? Friends are the family we get to choose.
So much for a small update. I was going to post about something else but I will save it for another day! Now I get to go shopping and get all of my favorite Thanksgiving foods!! I get my friend filled Thanksgiving but I still don't get the clean house that comes with it...she wants to be at her place...I think she knows how much I'd have to do to get my house in order...her excuse was "your kids love coming out to my house", which is true...I guess I will just have to pretend I have company coming...one of these days!
20 Nablahblodwn 10 to go! ONLY 10 more days?!!! woo hoo!!!

Fun Monday That Story
Karisma and Kids are hosting this weeks Fun Monday and she wanted this....
"I want you to take a trip down memory lane, and keep right on going, right back to your childhood. And I want to hear "THAT STORY". You remember the one? Yes, you do! The one your parents, siblings, extended family or friends, would never let you forget, live down or get over!"
I have told this story before in my Summer Fun Monday. It is the only story that comes to mind when asked for "that story". I asked my Mom what age she thought I was when this happened and she wasn't sure but guessed 6 or 7. I think she is right. I have retold it, I didn't want to just copy and paste.
On my maternal Grandparents farm we all got together in June to help celebrate my Grandmas Birthday and for those old enough, to help out with Harvest(wheat). My cousins and I would usually play badminton. Sometimes June in Kansas can be really HOT. My male cousins had already shed their t-shirts and I did too. I didn't see what was wrong with this. I did it often when I got hot. I thought it was natural, normal, and perfectly OK. None of my cousins thought it was OK. They all yelled at me to put my shirt back on. I refused. I kept saying that, "If the boys have their shirts off then so can I." They kept on yelling at me saying something like inappropriate. Parents and Grandparents had to be called in to get me to put my shirt back on. I had as flat a chest as my boy cousins did. I just couldn't understand why I was not allowed to take my shirt off like the boys.
That is a picture of me fishing with my shirt off because I was HOT. I was 7 in this photo and I bet it was taken about a month before the famous shirtless badminton game. That is my Grandma sitting with me, she is holding my shirt. That is my paternal Grandma, the one married to that handsome Marine. If you click the picture I bet you can see the pole, it is laying down so I could keep it still.
This is one of those story's that shaped who I am today. A life changing moment for sure!
A story that I will never live down, one that I am actually proud of.

Blah
I am not inspired to write anything today. I have read a few blogs hoping to get inspired...not that I would take someones topic and be a copy cat...my brain works differently. Someone may be talking about horses and that would make me think of my sons football team and how they had their end of season banquet tonight.
Honestly, I am bummed. I am bummed about a great many things but all this Thanksgiving hulla baloo is making me blue. It could be that the limited sunshine is starting to take affect on me already(I think not) or it could be that we really have no one coming over this year. My hubs parents wont come until they are retired, my Mom had prior engagements the week of Thanksgiving so she wont be making the trip back over here. Maybe I am secretly bummed that my house wont get a tidy up and clean this week. I'm at my cleaning best when company is coming. I think I'm a closet clean freak that only comes out when someone is coming over(my mom, dad, and a couple of my close friends excluded).
I miss the big family get togethers from my youth. I hate being an only child.

Irony Explained
I live in a subdivision. Even though we are only a mile from "town" we even look like we are part of the town, we still fall under the county. Even though the same trash service picks up recycles curbside in town they won't for us because we are county. There are other advantages and disadvantages. Being in county we can burn our trash or leaves we can have a fire pit. In the year that we have lived here I have seen one cop car in our subdivision. My biggest gripe about living under county "laws" or better yet the lack of "laws" is that people let their dogs run loose. There is one house that I have to pass on my way out that their dogs run out at me, which scare the shit out of me and I slam on my breaks. Then they still keep on chasing me. I hate those dogs.
Then there are 3 homes on my street, more accurately my neighbor to the right and my neighbor to my left and the neighbor across the street from me, that let their dogs run loose. One of them even has a specific day that she lets her dog loose to roam. Guess what fucking day that is. Go ahead just guess. She lets her dog roam on trash day. I will actually be glad when we move from here. I know we bought our house but I don't like this area or this state. This is not where I want to live the rest of my life.
This blog topic came to me before my dogs got loose on Thursday,I told you it was ironic. I put my dogs outside when I am leaving. We spent quite a lot of $$$ to fence our yard in. We live on a hill and when the winds are strong there is one panel that blows into the yard and the dogs squeeze out. The company that installed our fence could not get the post closer to the house due to the foundation coming out to far. They cut a piece of vinyl fence to fit between the house and post. We need to jimmy-rig it so that the dogs do not get out again. I will not be grouped with these irresponsible pet owners.

House Party
Swampy is hosting a Housewarming Party for JulieBug and Tiggerlane. I thought I was going to come up with something totally creative. HA! It would come as no surprise as to what my first gift for these lovely ladies is...
Mimosa! Yum yum!
These 2 trees are in my yard, the previous owners planted them. I do not know what they are except that they are the same kind of tree and their fall foliage is just breathtaking!

This picture looks hazy, it is just that I was facing the sun that is starting to get low in the sky...so it is actually more like rays of sunshine!
Good luck with the finishing touches on your new homes. Cheers!

Join the Fun
It is Thursday already? This posting everyday is starting to blow!
After dropping my younger 2 off at preschool I go to the store...needed to get cat food cuz Yoda formerly known as sick kitty should be on wet kitty food. He really should be on the prescription kind that you can only buy at the vet office, specially formulated for cats with the "disorder" he has. I am hoping it was a one time thing and just switching him to wet food will help him...it has to do with wet food giving them more water into their diet which in turn helps keep their plumbing clear.
While I was at the store my neighbor calls me..."Where are you?" in a demanding tone...I was thinking WTF bitch? I told her and she asked if I was aware that Neko and Luke were out roaming around. Again I wanted to say something very snarky but refrained.( She lets her dog out to roam around pissing and shitting on other peoples lawns) Long story short she let the geriatric dog into the house because he was sitting at the front door waiting to go back in. Luke? She tried to get him, grabbed his collar and he snapped at her. Yes Luke is a totally different dog when he gets loose outside and has the ability to run free and go see the neighborhood hussies. He has snapped at me and at my hubs when we try to grab him.
Earlier today I was thinking about a topic to blog about. I was just about to write about it when I realized I still have 15 more days of this crap so I better save the idea...it is written down in my lil notebook with a couple other ideas. It is IRONIC how closely related the topic is to this post...I even hinted up there....
Tomorrow is a House Warming Party for Tiggerlane and JulieBug, hosted by Swampy. Anyone is more than welcome to join the fun and post a picture of something on your blog that you would give as a housewarming present, something you think no home is complete without, something you cant live without...maybe it will give them some great ideas maybe it will just give them a much needed laugh. Go sign up over at the witch's swamp if you want to play!

Boogie Woogie
I feel so bad for getting my daily posts out so late in the day. I am just glad there is nothing in Nablome that states that one has to post by a certain time...well except for that it has to be posted before the end of that day. I was about to sit down and watch my recorded episode of the Results show for Dancing with the Stars when I realized I still hadn't posted for today!
I am starting to feel like I have run out of juice. I am sure it will come to a point where I will just type "I have nothing to say today."
Sunday I posted a picture of my Grandpa. It has been a little over 4 years since he received his last set of orders for his final duty station...Once a Marine, always a Marine. I miss him everyday. I miss him more the days leading up to and after Veterans day. He was my hero. The man wasn't perfect, I learned later in life his flaws...that he was human, made mistakes, had a horrible short temper...but he was my hero regardless. He was more of a Father to me than my own Dad. Grandparents get a chance to get it right the second time around, don't they? Not for my Dad. Funny how people can come from the same gene pool and be alike yet there is a world of difference between them as well.
My oldest is in a school performance tomorrow. He is a WWII solider writing to his girlfriend. He has a few lines. The song that they all sing after my sons small skit is 'Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy'. My Grandpa met my Grandma at a USO club. Grandpa said her dance card was always full. They loved dancing. I asked my Grandma once if she had ever danced dances like the Jive and Boogie-woogie...."All the time dolly." I will have a hard time keeping my eyes dry tomorrow. My Mom came today to be here for his performance. I had asked my Dad for something really special, my Mom brought it with her....
The pants, belt, and piss cutter aren't pictured. Does anyone think it would be safe to stick his uniform in a Dryel bag? My Dad must have pulled it out from the cedar chest a week ago and my Dad is a chain smoker...it just reeks! I am too scared to put it in the Dryel bag...and I am not spraying it with Febreze, as it has stained a few things so I wont even take that chance. I have dryer sheets all over it.
I am taking tissues tomorrow, lots of tissues.

Fun Monday May I?
Hootin' Anni is this Fun Mondays hostess. She wanted to play a game of Mother May I. She asked us to start at our computer and take 30 ginormous steps in any direction and take a picture of what we see. Then take 15 baby steps back and take another picture.Mother may I?
My CPU is in my living room. I couldn't take 30 HUGE steps and remain on my main floor unless I had walked around my couch a few times. Darn it! I just thought about that option right now! So, I swiveled in my chair and began my journey around my couch, down the stairs, around the corner and ended up here...
This is the boys play room/toy room/disaster area. The door leads to a closet. If you pivot left you will face the chalkboard wall, turn left again and you will see the reading corner and then the bookshelf and another toy bin like the one you see above. Keep on pivoting left and you will see the door I came in.
If you were pivoting with me and pivioted left a little more you would see this...
You see some of this in my first photo. The hand prints on the walls are my boys. Blue is my youngest, Red the middle, and Green is the oldest. So I turned to go back out the door to take my 15 small steps back the way I came...take a right out of the door, a right around the corner, one more right I was at 15 and at the bottom of the stairs that lead back up to my CPU.
Luke is always at the top looking down at me,click it to see all his cuteness!

Thank a Veteran
My Grandpa is a Veteran Marine. He served in WWII in the Asia-Pacific Theatre and in the Korean war. This photo was taken in 1950, I'm pretty sure right before he shipped off to Korea.
I want to write more about my Grandpa but just thinking about what I want to write is making me teary eyed. I miss him so much. He always gave my hubby a hard time by telling him he was in the wrong branch. I remember calling my Grandpa one Veterans day and telling him "Happy Veterans Day Grandpa!" He said "Thank you." My hubby read me the riot act after I got off the phone. I made sure I never said that to him again. At least my Grandpa knew what I meant behind my greeting, that I was proud of him and thankful for his service. I am still proud of him.
My 2 Uncles served, one in Vietnam in the Army, the other in the Navy. I am thankful for their service to our country. It is the home of the free because of the brave. I feel honored to known them, and that I call them family.

Game Day
Today was college game day. Tomorrow will be NFL games. I love watching football. I enjoy eating the typical football foods too. Don't forget the beer! This year is the first year that my son has played football. It is hitting closer to home the reality of how freakin' ruff the sport is. When I watch the game I'm not thinking about how dangerous it is. Sure you see a player limping off the field every once in a while. It wasn't until this year that I thought about all the injuries the players risk each and every time they step out on that field whether it is for practice or for the game.
For the past 10 years I've been talking about how my boys are going to play football. I'm not biased. I let my oldest play Soccer(3 years) and Basketball(1year), he just doesn't like them anymore. I am starting to think that just maybe I dont want my babies growing up to be football players. I am glad to hear my middle guy talk about basketball. I don't even watch that sport, its just back and forth and back and forth. The squeaking of the sneakers gets on my nerves a little bit. To me it is just an all around boring game. After all the injuries I've seen, Basketball is starting to sound kinda nice. NFL, NBA it really doesn't matter.
But doesn't my baby look cute and so NOT a baby anymore?

Get Your Drink On!
I really wanted to do a Screaming Orgasm. I figured most people are familiar with that DRINK. So today I am going to show you a Monkey's Lunch.
Here is a look at what you need to make a Monkey's Lunch...
~1oz Banana Liquor
~1oz Kahlua Liquor
~milk
Pour alcohol over ice in a glass and add milk, stir. For the glass I used, I added approx 2 oz of milk.
I had to use my sons Lactaid as I was out of regular milk. This drink is rather good! I was pleasantly surprised!

Special Legalities
I took Yoda to the vet for his check-up. Before he gets the all clear they need a sample of his urine. There are 3 options...the "special" liter (that didn't work out last time), sticking a needle in his bladder and extracting some that way, or keeping him at the vet overnight so he'll go in their kennel. They can't do the needle option as he is too fat for that. We are going to try the special liter again and hope for a good sample. If not than he is going to get his first sleepover.
My father inherited the house he now lives in from his father when he died, free and clear. He wants to make sure I get the house and that it doesn't get used to pay off any of his debt. Would anyone out in my blog world know what he needs to do? Thanks in advance to anyone that has any insight into this. My email is on my profile page.

Rear View
Here it is, Hump Day. I was just about to write a big garbled mess of words as my mind is doing the 1,000 mile a minute thing again. When I came here to start typing out a few of the thoughts I realized HA! I don't have to type out all these wonderful/scary thoughts!! I am saved from your criticism as by tomorrow I will have forgotten my crazy thoughts! Nee ner nee ner nee ner! You'll never know, unless they come to the surface again. Damn it.
This one is my personal favorite right now. I am so sick and tired of these ppl. I was coming up on my corner this afternoon, I will be turning left onto my street. A car was turning onto the street I was on, she would have been making a left so that means turning out in front of me, she had a stop sign but did she stop? FUCK NO! WHY? She was talking on her fucking cell phone. She just cruised right through not looking either way, not stopping, nothing! All because she was deep in fucking chatty cathy world.
Deep breath. Okay, this one had even my hubby laughing his ass off! (He is still a smoker)

I have embraced, how about you?
See we could call it EmYoInDo....oh no that sounds like I'd need rolling papers.
Happy Hump Day!!!

Sentimental Glass
Yesterday brought up loads of memories of Thanksgiving and Christmas that I forgot to share. Beckie's adorable picture of her daughter and goblet made me think of the special glassware that my Grandma used on the 2 major holiday gatherings. I felt really special being able to use these glasses. They were just beautiful. There was also a pitcher that she served Iced tea in.
When my Grandmother passed away I received 3 glasses and a vase. The rest was divided amongst my 2 Aunt's and maybe a few of my cousins that cared to have any. My hubby broke one of the glasses soon after we were married and I have not used them since. They are on display in my China cabinet. I pulled them out to take this picture.
If you or someone you know has any glass like the ones pictured, and would like it to go to a loving home...call me!

Fun Monday Traditions
I usually post-date my FM post on Sunday but I was under the impression that post-dating was "illegal" and the Nablo Po Po would come and get me. Seriously, I thought it was against the Nablome "rules" to post-date.
Anyone is welcome to join Fun Monday. You just sign up in the comments of the host/hostess of the Fun Monday that tickles your fancy. You post about the topic of choice on your own blog linking back to the host/hostess. Now on with the show.
The Humble Housewife is today's Fun Monday Hostess. She has asked us to write about holiday traditions. She was really interested in the family recipes. Are you kidding me? Those are in the safe!
I have to say that Thanksgiving is just not Thanksgiving without my Aunt's 7 layer salad. I'm just not able to be grateful without that salad. Because food is really what Thanksgiving is all about, right?
7-Layer Salad
Christmas is my favorite holiday/time of year. I love all the decorations and I have very fond memories of Christmas at my Grandparents farm. There were 7 grandchildren. My Grandma made us each our own tiny stocking with out names stitched on them. She would have them hung up with a candy cane each plus a small piece of paper. When it was time. She would hand out our stockings and the hunt was on! On the piece of paper was a clue that would lead you to the next clue. That clue would lead you to another, then that clue would lead you to your small gift. The gift was usually something that she had cross stitched, like a Christmas ornament. I also remember singing Christmas songs around the piano, and making tiny boxes out of last years Christmas cards. Here is her sleigh of "gifts" that my Mom got when her Mom passed away. My Mom gave me a lot of the decorations from my Grandma.
Here is one Christmas recipe...
Rum Balls
One tradition I have with my kids is to make reindeer from construction paper using their hands and a foot. The foot is the face and their hands are the antlers. I enjoy looking at the collection of reindeer to see how much they have grown over the years.
Now go check out The Humble Housewife for the list of all the participants this week and what traditions they have to share.

B.O.R.I.N.G.
It is 8:24 Central Standard Time. This is the time on Sunday's that I start/work on/finish up my Fun Monday post. I can't do that right now because of Nablome. I have to wait until Monday and I am not staying up until midnight tonight. I stayed up until 2 am last night and was up at 9:45 AM which quickly turned into 8:45 which made me feel like I didn't really get to sleep in! I do not feel like I got an extra hour of sleep at all. I am feeling slightly better...I'm really not stuffy but still blowing the nose every once in a while. So maybe the Zicam did help.
My day consisted of reading a few blogs, dishes, laundry...watching some of Transformers, talking to my Dad on the phone and he's a fucking yapper, went to the store for just a FEW things and I'm not being sarcastic, talked to my Mom....I just now realized I skipped Lunch...I did have Breakfast...I ate Supper/Dinner( What do you call it?) and gave the younger 2 baths and tucked them in and folded more laundry and now I'm here... I really wasted my day...and I sat down once meaning to get my Sunday post out and I didn't know what to type. I am going to fold some more laundry and watch at least one show and then hit the hay...I might somewhere amongst that work on my Monday post so I don't have so much to do in the AM to get it up.
Ohhhh that sounds dirty!

Sick Kitty
Of all the things I could blog about I am picking this one and I refuse to join the masses of crazy lady kitty blogs. I really don't like my cats that much, so I am positive I will never join. So fear not, I am still a crazy momma to 3 boys tellin' it like it is ok?! Ok!
I have 2 cats. They are brother and sister from the same liter. They are fixed you sickos! Yoda is the boy. I have had problems with him going downstairs on things, in things that he shouldn't. I have liked him less since moving here, he never did that crap before. Recently I thought I had gotten a handle on it and he wasn't doing it anymore. Tuesday I walk past the down stairs bathroom to see him squatting over a towel on the floor, I yell at him he runs off. Not more than 5 minutes later he's in my master bath doing the same over another towel, same response from me. 5 minutes after that he comes into the kitchen sniffs at a plastic sack on the floor paws in it then hovers over it this time I shove him while yelling. I start thinking ok, he needs to go. I can't take this anymore. Later in the afternoon I am in oldest boys room and find pee on a book that is laying on the floor and on a notebook. I get livid. Fast fwd to putting boys down. I see Yoda squatting in a corner. I scream, he runs and I go over to see if anything came out. 2 drops tinged with blood. I forgot to mention that there was nothing on the towels...I just thought at the time that I caught him before anything came out.
Doing a search on the good ol' www and I find out that it is a possible urinary tract infection. He gets put in the X-large doggy kennel with a liter box and water. Halloween he gets taken to the vet in the afternoon. They take x-rays and Yoda pees on their floor. I am so glad he gave them a sample as the special liter they gave me to get a sample made the sample useless. They said that the urine he left them had crystals in it.
So now Yoda has to be quarantined not because he is infectious but because I need to monitor his outtake, make sure he is urinating. Plus he has to be on wet food...YUCK! They also put him on a antibiotic but are not calling it a urinary infection. This is what they are saying he has. Yoda is only 5 years old. Chances are this will be a recurring problem for him. I really could keep going on about this and how I feel about this but I can always do a part 2 if I need to! Plus this is NO Kitty blog!
This was taken in July. The vet says he is overweight. He was 18 lbs in May and last week he was 17 they say I'm doing good. He looks average in this shot( he actually looks small to me in this one)...that is because his royal fatness is sunk into the couch!

Get Your Drink On!
For those that might stumble upon my blog during the season of Nablopomo, I feature an alcoholic drink on Friday's. I usually try to pick an unusual named one, take photos and give my own review etc. Today is really Nablomyno day...Blow my Nose...That's right, as if posting everyday for the entire month wasn't bad enough I started feeling a cold coming on yesterday. I bought Zicam and that didn't do shit. Maybe I need more, cuz it's still coming and is getting worse. So, on the first day of Nablome I started getting a cold AND my Aunt came knocking on my door and No the bitch didn't have chicken noodle soup.
This all means that I do not feel like getting my drink on. I need a shit load of Ibuprofen and possibly a Screwdriver. I am sure most of you know what that is and I mean the drink not the tool. But in case there is someone out there that doesn't yet know what it is let me give a quick how to.
Get a highball glass, but any glass that holds 6 to 8 oz will do. Put in a few ice cubes add 2 oz of vodka and 5 to 6 oz Orange Juice. Consume.
I'm off to self medicate. 2 Nablomedown 28 to go.
