Mouth Says....
Mouth says the darnedest things! There is a reason why his nickname is Mouth. He is loudmouthed, and he talks and talks and talks. He also says some really funny things. A few days ago my hubby had gone to wake up the middle guy for school when the hubs came running up the stairs urgently telling me I had to come downstairs and to bring my camera...

PSA
A couple of nights ago I was startled awake by our smoke detectors. There was no fire. My hubby was still up playing video games and he said that he heard what to him sounded like a gunshot and then the alarms went off. My heart was racing so fast I thought it was going to burst out of my chest. I had just replaced the batteries in the smoke detectors on the 2nd. My hubby was going all over the house trying to figure out what had set off the alarms. He was checking out the light fixture that is right next to one of the smoke alarms because it was the one still beeping. That is when I heard what sounded like a light bulb break, it was a really loud pop and glass shattering. But the light bulbs were fine. The beeping continued, so he decides to check out the battery. He had a hard time getting the compartment open. Once he got it open he saw why....

Exploding batteries might sound like a gunshot or a light bulb breaking. Now you know. I just can't help but wonder if this could have been avoided if I had NOT changed the batteries in my smoke detectors.

You just couldn't take it anymore could you? It has been bugging you for the past week and then some. You HAVE to know what I was dressed up as in my Ghost of Halloween Past post. We all know that the bozo that won was dressed up as a Chippendale Dancer. I was dressed up as Raggedy Anne's evil twin sister. Creative, I know!
Now a lot of you were concerned that I had hurt myself in my last post. I did land feet first, which sent a highly uncomfortable jolt up my leg and into my back. Other than that I was fine and I even walked away from the hay bales. Impressive, yes!
