I want to frame these at some point. They are such pretty bird prints. But I like Lisa and Pamela's REAL bird photos better!!!

I told you that I had a bunch of something that made me think of one blogger, well okay it actually makes me think of 2. Lisa from Lisa's Chaos is who I thought of right away and then I thought about Pamela at The Dust Will Wait. Lots of photos today so no more talky talky.

Let it Rain
I am sorry if yesterday's post showed up a zillion times in anyone's Bloglines or whatever else they are called. I had some serious issues with the frickin' text. I didn't have time to redo the entire post from scratch so after trying several times to fix it I just had to give up and leave it all fuckered up!
I still haven't visited all those that came by on Fun Monday. I didn't even get around to my daily reads yesterday. Had a semi busy day. I waste my mornings. Then jam too much into my afternoons. I am heading the same way for today too. I registered my middle guy for Kindergarten yesterday. That was bittersweet. Had to hit the grocery store and I still forgot things, so I will have to go back today. My recycles are piling up, literally. The in laws come for their annual visit in 22 days. That means I only have 3 weekends to get my house in order and keep it maintained. The hubs doesn't care what the house looks like. I think he's lost his marbles. I've tried to explain to him that they won't judge him on the state of the house, they will judge me. Maybe it's all in my head.
Oh! I finally got a shot of the female Oriole!! They are poor quality due to me taking the photo through the kitchen window, the bottom part of the window. So not only through the glass but through the black screen. Click on it to big it you'll see a little more detail.

One of these days I am going to sit out on my deck and try to get some decent shots. I still want to get a photo of the young male oriole.
So much for me walking. The rest of this week is nothing but fucking rain. I hear the lovely thunder as I type. Fear not! I will be doing my stairs, the stairs in my home. I will turn on the music and just go up and down the stairs, boring but it's exercise. I haven't decided how many minutes...I guess I should go for 30. Maybe 15 minutes this AM and 15 minutes this afternoon/evening. I better get to it so I can take a shower before taking the lil ones to preschool. Fuck you diabetes. Your not welcome here.

Orange Crush
I am slow on the take most days. It just dawned on me this morning that I should write a blog post before I start my morning blog reading. Especially if I have something in mind. I am smacking my forehead and saying D'oh!
I am so behind with house work it's just disgusting. Laundry is beyond piled up. It's not just the laundry... I'll leave it at that.. Tuesday I got a call from the volunteer coordinator for the school district and said she had a lot of things and wondered if I could help out with any of them. I am a dumb ass. I have a hard time saying no. This would normally not be a big deal but since agreeing I have been feeling like everything is piling up on me. To top it off I volunteered during the time my boys are in preschool...and that's when I try to get my stuff done. Also they don't go to preschool on Friday's so Thursday afternoons are my last chance to get stuff done without them. I know, I know cry me a river. I'll stop whining and complaining now.
The hummingbirds have been here for 2 weeks already. I have one feeder up so far, with 2 more I am planning on getting up. Yesterday morning I was standing at the kitchen sink and I froze. A huge bird landed on the hummer feeder I have outside my kitchen window. I just stared at it frozen for a long time. I saw that same bird the day before, but it had just landed on my deck railing. It was the first time I had ever seen a Oriole with my own eyes!! So yesterday I spent most of my morning trying to get a picture of that Oriole. They are extremely skiddish. But I finally got him!

I know they are not good quality since they are through the window and I didn't use a flash so I wouldn't scare it away. Click it to big it and you can see more detail. I put 2 orange halves in my mini willow tree. I have seen them sitting in it so I thought that would be a good place. I looked at Wally world for a Oriole feeder but didn't find one. I'll check Lowe's, and then the internet. I can always count on the internet! I already checked, just wanted to try to get it here.
Happy May Day!

This is for the Birds!
One birdie shy of a dozen!
Seriously Mr. Squirrel it's for the birds!

This is our grill. Do you see what I see?

How about now?

It was really cool watching Mrs. Robin fly under there with grass in her beak but I had to pull it out and move the grill. The next time we went to grill she would leave her eggs. She hadn't laid any yet. She hadn't even started pulling out her chest down for the nest. I felt so horrible taking away all of her hard work. I still feel bad. I don't think she did her homework to well. Both of our dogs noses can reach that nest. I'm glad I caught it before she laid her eggs.
