Macro Monday Tulips

After the extreme cold weather we had this past week I needed to remind myself that warmer days are not that far away.

In 3 months I'll be seeing these beauties again.

Seeing these make me feel all warm inside. Knowing that spring is not as far off as it seems, warms my spirits.

It's time I play Macro Monday again! The lovely and talented Lisa is the Momma of this fun weekly photo series. Anyone can join. Any close up will do.

I took these photo's back in August. I had quite a few spider subjects around my house this summer. This is as close as I got to any of them. I SO need a Macro lens!

Eye See Macro Monday

On the first day of school I'm the Mommarazzi! It's a wonder my boys still talk to me, but they are not teenagers yet...that time will come! This year on the first day of school I had my "new" camera. I got it this past April. I was taking all kinds of photos.

My oldest likes to wear his hair swept into his eyes. I hate this. He has the most beautiful eyes. At least he let me get all up in his personal space to get this one.

Last week the kids had 3 days off from school and on the 2nd day we went out to play in the snow. It was still snowing and I captured my own snowflake! Not as cool as the ones Lisa has captured with her macro!
I also got some birdy tracks in the snow.

Macro Monday

The lovely and talented Lisa from Lisa's Chaos started up Macro Monday awhile ago. I finally have something to share! Not that I have a Macro lens, nor do you need one to play, but I did get a close up of a couple Christmas ornaments.

Why is Spider-Man slinging his web at my baby's first Christmas ornament? What did that baby bear ever do to him? Oh wait. That's the dark Spider-Man. He was an asshole. Good thing he tore that suit off of him or else Venom wouldn't have been created.

What's that you say? You have no idea what I'm talking about? All I have to say is, 3 boys. I have 3 boys, 4 if you count my hubby. Enough said.
