I am so over the top!

I really do not want to write about this but it keeps bugging me, so after half the day is now gone I just have to get it off my chest. I hope I will feel better. My first stop in the mornings, like most of you, is the bathroom. This morning there was a brand new roll of T.P. on the holder, actually put on. This was done by my hubby. For a split second I said AWWWWW, that is until I noticed it was put on facing away from me. This should not matter, yet it still annoyed me. I have spent all day trying to figure out why. Maybe it might have to do with left brained verses right brained ppl. That theory just doesn't help me get over my annoyance.

I tried to ignore it, to just get over it... it is just T.P. for cripes sake! Every time I went to the bathroom today and I'd reach for the T.P. I would get annoyed all over again. This is insane, I have lost it, I am blogging about flippin T.P., and not in the fun way like "I T.P.'d someones house last night for shits and giggles. "

Yes, when I put a roll on it faces me, when I am at my Mom's I turn it to face me, with the exception of today, I switch it to face me if I happen upon a roll the "other" way in my own home. Why you ask, have I not turned this roll? I am trying to battle my inner demons, that freak in me who gets annoyed at T.P. being placed on the roller underneath/facing away/backwards.

I want to clarify that I do not nag my hubby about which way he puts a new roll on, nor is this post in any way a bitch session about how he puts a new roll on. I am just trying to get a better understanding as to why I am such a weirdo, to see if there is any rhyme or reason to my madness! NO? See, I didn't think so.

My way.......

His way........

There was an old lady who lived in a shoe...

So here is a fun lil' post, maybe it is only funny to me but I don't care. I have a picture of 2 pairs of shoes. One pair belongs to my Mother-in-law and the other pair belongs to my Mom. My Mom visited the beginning of this month, she forgot a pair of her shoes at our house. Then the in-laws came and my mother-in-law leaves a pair of her shoes! How funny is that. I thought it was hilarious. What are the odds?

Anyone care to take a guess as to which pair belongs to which Grandma? Fianna (my BFF) can't play, she has seen my Mommy in her shoes that she forgot at my house, unfair advantage sweetie! I have nothing to offer anyone that gets it right but just your own personal satisfaction! I am still chuckling!

EDIT: I realized the crappy chance I gave you in guessing, not knowing me, not having seen a picture of me, or heck even a picture of my own shoes. So with that in mind go read my post "They came, they saw ,they fled" make sure to read the comments too and then I bet you can figure out which Grandma goes to which pair of shoes!

Frankincense

Yesterday afternoon, in my world we lost the most beautiful cat soul. His full name was Frankincense. Those that knew and loved him, affectionately called him Frank,or Franki. He was 17yrs 9 and a half months old. He was my KY BFF's cat. She got him at an animal shelter in Kansas. He had a BB or 2 lodged in the top of his cute lil head. Franki was the best cat. He was the kind of cat that turned non-cat lovers into cat lovers. He turned my hubby. Franki was great with the kids. He died of Kidney failure. It was a slow decline and his owner made several trips to the vet to make his final months/weeks/days to be as good as anyone could. She had to put him under yesterday, he feel asleep in her arms. She buried him on their land, rocks on top of the grave, with a beautiful headstone. Frank was a hunter, a fighter, and above all he was a lover. There will never be another like him. He will be sorely, deeply and truly missed.

A sweet Kitty Angel then, and now.....

He was always so playful!

Here he is cuddled with my Oldest Lil' Man when my guy was just 2!

What cat doesn't love an open window sill?

He loved the outdoors. At one point, when her female cat was having liter upon liter upon liter of kitties(not his, he was fixed) he choose to act like a dog. He would go to the door to be let out to use the bathroom. He was frickin' AWESOME!

This boy was de-clawed and yet there he was not even a month ago, showing the new puppy that he was not one to be messed with. Just about 2 weeks ago my KY BFF told me a Franki story and here it goes! She was outside, saw that Frank had something squeaking in his mouth...she just thought it was a mouse, until she realized it was a baby bunny!!! She starts to try and pry it out of his mouth, he starts fighting her with his back claws and growling. She finally gets his jaws loose and he drops it.... but the puppy immediately swallows it whole! Frank takes off. A little later she hears that same squeak, she goes outside, sure enough Frank has another bunny. This time he kills it and takes off with it. Now she tries to follow him, then decides to just wait. Good ole Frank delivers a 3rd baby bunny! She was able to get it from him with little effort.
This is the last photo of our dear Franki. He was more than just a pet he was family. We love you and miss you!

Fun Tuesday

I said it would spill over into Tuesday. Here are the Lil' Men's shelves. I know books are missing from them as they take them out and leave them where ever they stopped reading them.

The one above is the oldest Lil Man's bookcase. All of those shelves should be full. When we moved in and I put all the books on his bookcase I couldn't fit them all in there, had to use the top and off to the side. All 3 shelves were tight.... humm where are the rest? Time to go investigate and help him clean! I didn't notice books all over the floor in his room.

The one above here is in Lil man 2 and 3's bedroom. Again, all 3 were full... where oh where have my lil books gone? Oh where oh where could they be?

This one is in the Toy room/playroom/absolute CHAOS room!

Fun Monday #22

OK so I am so late on this and I am not going to quote correctly, but it seemed like such the perfect Fun Monday for me I couldn't pass it up. So Swampwitch is hosting this Mondays fun Monday asking ppl to post pictures of our bookshelves. I didn't get the kids bookshelves(3) taken.... maybe another post... here are mine

top half

lower half

again this is the top half and then the lower half has my cookbooks
Below is the top of my entertainment center with a few nic nacs and baby photos

OK and yet again is an upper half and then a lower half of the same bookcase.

There you have it. Just a few of my books. I will post the Lil' Men's shelves on Fun Tuesday! ha ha. I loved this one so much as my Mom is a huge book lover and has WAY more than I. I even had friends comment on her collection. One even made fun of her book titles. I have to admit some were funny. So I make sure I have a few book titles just for funnies sake! Enjoy!

Settings Shmettings

So, I was just informed that I had my comments settings set to only allow blogger users to comment. As soon as I learned this injustice I immediately changed it. Everyone may now commence showering me with comments.

Please forgive me, I am just a newborn in this wide blog world! I never meant to exclude.

They came, they saw, they fled!

2 slip-n-slides, 3 RC trucks, and a digital camera later..... I am back to an in-law free house. My oldest who is 9 received a digital camera, a Kodak easy share kind with one mega pixel more than my digi cam! Lil' spoiled Brat he is! The younger 2 also received t-shirts. Is anyone else thinking that the in-laws love language is giving/receiving gifts? Anyone? Maybe they were just making up for not sending Birthday gifts? They have never sent anything for Birthdays. They are big on X-mas though. They are a strange breed. I do not think I will ever understand them.

For instance I think they gave more love and affection to our 9 month old puppy than they did the kids. I think they played more with the pup than they did the kids. Our pup is not much of a puppy weighing in at a lean 100 lbs, standing about 2 and a half feet tall. He is a house, a moose, he is not a cute cuddly lap dog is what I am trying to say. So that is one reason why I do not think I will ever understand my in-laws.

A good time was had by all, except me. Aunt Flo was a major bitch. The first 2 full days of the in-laws 3 day visit was the worst for me. The heat pad and I we hardly ever apart. We did venture on their final day to a mini golf course and most got sunburns and heat stroke. Well, maybe not heat stroke but most defiantly sunburns. We had a good time none-the-less. Father-in-law and I kicked ass in mini golf!! I even got a hole-in-one!! A first ever for me!!!
Whoo hoo!

My hubby says they had a great time. Father-in-law even said they had a great time. I find that very hard to believe. All we did was sit around the house watch movies and watch the Lil' Men play video games, slip on the slip-n-slide, run around acting like complete baboons, and eat. We did go to wally world a couple times. We drank refreshing alcoholic drinks, and one night played Mad Gab. That was funny. Father-in-law came up with lots of funny things that weren't even on the card. Things like "1-800" and "French Fried Curds" he must have been hungry for cheese curds! He even added words that weren't there like "sparkling CLEAR water" I guess you just had to be there. If you have never played Mad Gab go get it and play. It is loads of fun!

Well the 3 day visit was uneventful, no drama unless you count my 3 Lil' Drama Kings! I think my biggest problem concerning my in-laws is the fact that I can't read them. I am unable to "size them up". Do ya'll know what I am trying to say? My hubby agrees that they are in fact hard to read. I am a huge people reader, along with being a big ppl watcher too, I love all things psychology and sociology. It really drives me nuts when I can't get some kind of "feeling"/"read" off of someone in my life. I don't mean in the aura/psychic sense, just your getting a "feel" for someone sense. OK, I feel like I lost everyone so I am going to close. The only other thing to come of the in-laws visit was morbid thoughts.... more of that to come later on this week.

Sunshine on a cloudy day

So, I thought I would share this photo....
Yesterday after having several thunder
storms roll through, Mother Nature decided she wasn't
finished yet. The sun was shining and yet it started to pour! I have seen this occurrence several times in my life in several different states and in a different country yet it still amazes me.

I took that photo with no flash. That is pure sun shining through pouring rain!!! I just wanted to share! Awesome isn't it?

Tomorrow comes the post where I talk about the 3 day visit with the in-laws!

And I'm Spent!

So, I got busy under pressure and I am done! The house is picked up and ready for in-law eyes. I knew I could do it. It is still not near the perfection I'd like it to be. I have at least come to terms with the freak in me that thinks my house should be perfection for my in-laws. Not only have I accomplished my cleaning goals I battled my inner demons! How cool is that? All with 4 hours to spare before their estimated arrival! My back is killin' me though. I guess that is just the price I pay sometimes, that and sweat and B.O., skipping breakfast.......

Yes, for anyone that has visited me before today knows my blog as "Momma K & 3 Lil' Men". I felt I wanted to change my Blog name since I had noticed that out of all 13, now 14 posts only 2 dealt with my kiddos or Motherhood. So there you have it, whether you wanted it or not, why I changed my name, and description. If you liked my first name better, leave me a comment. Leave me a comment if you have a better idea. Drop me a note to just say Hi. Heck tell me anything your little heart desires. Can you tell I would really like to hear from any potential readers? Yes I do!

Now all that is left is for me to do is make sure these Lil' Men don't erase all that I have done.

It's Official

I have wasted away the last 2 days. I have done nothing aside from a few dishes and vacuuming to prepare for the arrival of the in-laws. I do however work much better under pressure...

so I say I will get much more done today and tomorrow. I figured out why I freak about what my house looks like when the in-laws come. In their eyes the way the house looks is all me, my job, my responsibility. They are of that generation. My hubby has stated he doesn't care what it looks like, even though he and I know it falls on both of us, he doesn't care what they think. I wish I could feel that way. He says all he cares about is them seeing what an awesome Dad he is. They will defiantly see that, along with dust bunnies and drawings on the walls and bumps in the walls, stains in the carpets, and probably a couple spots downstairs that smell like cat pee. I will still be working as best I can to get the house to where I feel comfortable with them being in it.... oh who am I kidding.... I will never get it there... but I will do my best without killing myself. dumm dumm dumm dee dee dum dum... under pressure!

Oh, what a Beautiful Morning.....

So I said I would keep everyone updated in this post, here it goes.......

Last week, Wednesday to be precise, my hubby tells me not to stop the dryer. I asked why, he tells me there is a towel in it. WHAT? A towel? Do you mean what I think you mean? Please tell me that towel is for your cup and not just to have a nice warm towel after a shower!!!! Oh yeah, that towel was for the cup! Have I mentioned how much I love that man? I had no clue he was actually going to go through with it. I am the type of girl that doesn't like to get her hopes up, I hate being let down. So there I was all excited like a giddy school girl.

He comes home and tells me that he won't get the outcum (teehee) until Tuesday. Well folks it is Tuesday! There was not a single tiny fish swimming around in his sample. Now talk about a giddy school girl, that is me! I am pleased as punch. I could sing it from the rooftops... No more babies! Good thing, cuz every time I look at my Lil' Men's Baby photos I crave a baby, I actually craved one while viewing this, she is one of the cutest baby girls I have ever laid eyes on... add to that the small desire I will always carry to have a daughter of my very own.

Now, I do not have to worry about all those silly cravings and desires. We have plain old gravy now! I am really looking forward to not worrying about getting pregnant, or if I took that pill ... Gone are those days! I feel so free!! Wow, I can not express my joy! I promise not to write about all the joy that I will be experiencing now that we are fish free. Pinky Swear!

The Countdown

It is that time again, when my in-laws come for a visit. That means that I get to stress over what I cook, what we are going to do to entertain them, what my house looks like, what my kids look like, what we have accomplished since the last time they came to visit. Oh, that list is endless so I won't even try to go there. I do not know why I act like they are coming with their white gloves on. I always stress. They only come once a year on average. They have been my in-laws for almost 8 years now. You would think I would be used to it, but in my defence they have only been to our home twice, this will be the third, so I am not used to them being on my turf. The 2 times they visited us at my Mom's house doesn't count. That wasn't my house, they can't judge me by my Mom's house.

Needless to say I am stressin' the upcoming visit. As if all that stress isn't enough, who comes knocking at my door this morning? Aunt Flo! She has the nerve to show up just days before the In-laws arrival.... Bitch! So take my current stress/agitation level and multiply that by 50! The In-laws arrive Thursday evening... I do not know if I will be able to post at all during their short 3 day visit, but I will try. I know, 3 full days. I do not count their arrival day or their departure day. I bet 3 days is more than enough for any person to be around my Lil' Men. Don't forget, like most children when in the company of new ppl or ppl they don't see but once a year they show off, which is really them being out of control!

I would like to say a Big Hello and Warm Welcome to a few new reader dots I see on my map... Japan, Indonesia, and Turkey. I am so excited to have potential readers from different countries. Are you native to the country you are in or a foreigner in a foreign land? I love receiving comments, don't be shy I promise not to bite! Thanks for reading!

Well the time is always wrong in regards to when I post but as of right now I have 2 days and 16 hrs until my In-laws arrival, or what really counts... 43 waking hours!!!! I hope I can make the most of those!

Cab Ride from HELL!

Here’s my story, like to hear it? Well here it goes….

Last Wednesday I had a girl’s nite out with one of my friends and her sis. We were on a mission for Margaritas and Hot wings! Let me tell ya that the Margaritas at the first establishment SUCKED! It was like drinking lime water. There wasn’t even a hint of tequila! If that wasn’t bad enough the wings had a “hot” sauce that consisted of ketchup and a couple shakes from the crushed red pepper shaker! They weren't bad, just not at all spicy or hot. Oh, who am I kidding, they SUCKED too!

I mean when you have a hankerin’ for something, in our case it was MARGARITAS and HOT WINGS,and what your hankerin’ for doesn't even come remotely close to being what our taste buds were salivating for it is such a HUGE let down. We left; I mean I had managed to eat only 4 wings and drank not even half of the Margarita! I did however enjoy the celery sticks and ranch dressing!

We arrive at establishment 2. It has a much better variety of food, but all we could think about(food wise) were HOT WINGS!! We our hot wings and OMG! were they DELICIOUS, SCRUMPTIOUS, LIP SMACKING,DELECTABLE… the list goes on and on. Those wings were Hhhhhhot! Just what my mouth was watering for. Even the celery tasted sweeter! The margaritas were divine!

Us ladies had a wonderful time, LOADS of laughter, so much so that other patrons wanted to be in on the fun and one actually did join in! We closed the place down. The young at hearts we are wanted to keep going but didn’t know where. Then the old bittys we are just decided to take our party back to my friends’ house. Enter the cab ride from hell.

Now, my friend lives out in the boonies, the backwoods country, heck she lives in a national forest for fucks sake! It takes approximately 30 minutes to get from civilization town to her place. I am sure the ride took longer than 30 minutes though none of us cared to clock it. It was the longest 30+ minutes of our lives. This guy was a sleazy greazy fat bastard, and I mean that in the Austin Powers 1&2 Fat bastard way. Ohhhhh but was he ever scary. He kept trying to get our conversations on to anything sexual in content. Later my hubby said” Well DUH, he is a late night cab driver. What did you expect?” I at least expected the guy to stay on the road!

I said “WHITE LINE” at least 3 times,no kidding the Rt front tire was in the gravel ditch and the rest were sure to follow. I lost track of how many times he drove down the middle of the 2 lane highway. He went through a low lying fog for half a mile without slowing down at all, it felt like 80mph! At one point I looked at his speedometer and saw that he was only going 65, in a 55 mph zone, as the speed kept slowly creeping up the car started to shake and rattle. It felt like the tires were about the fall off and the car was going to split down the middle. Wait! I almost forgot to mention the deer standing still smack dab in the middle of the road! Which it is my firm belief that if I had not screamed “DEER!!!” he probably would have hit it, killing the deer and doing god-only-knows-what to us. My friend that was drunker than I kept trying to write SOS on the window from about 5 minutes into our ride and continued til we got to her road. I find out later that the guy said the car was not interstate certified… but he can go on the backwoods highways, that was assuming he’d do the speed limit.

I could have driven better than that cabbie, even with the approximately 6 or so (cuz’ ya’ll know I wasn’t counting) margaritas, not that I would drink and drive but if I had, I would have driven way better than that sorry excuse for a cabbie. I will never drink and drive, so the next time we want to have girls nite out and we all want to get soused my hubby has offered to be our cabbie. He has promised not to steer the talk towards anything sexual. At least til we are alone!

Flag Day

There are so many things that should be done in this country that aren't, since I can't possibly tackle them all in one post I will focus on one... for now. Today being Flag Day I came across an
article concerning the lowering of the flag to half-staff to honor Military service members killed overseas.

Only a little over half of the 50 states lower their flag for a fallen soldier and even of those it might only be at one place in the entire state. I believe that it should be done across the board, every state, for every soldier no matter if that solider is from that state or not. I do not believe that this should be up to the governor of each state. I brought this up to family and friends back when the VA Tech tragedy happened. Flags all over the 50 states were lowered for the victims. Yes, it was tragic, uncalled for, pointless.. Insert your feeling here......
Why do we honor victims of random acts of violence in EVERY state and not the people who defend our flag? I think that is fucked up. I mean no disrespect to the victims of past tragedy's or their families.

If your answer is because it would fly at half-staff 24/7, 365 days ... GREAT!!... every American citizen needs to be reminded of the sacrifice that is made day in day out. We as Americans do not sacrifice/do anything like what was sacrificed/done back during WW II. I think that is fucked up too!

The United States of America.... we aren't so united are we?

Informational Rant,sorta

I have had this on my mind off and on for several days since my girl sent me the link and then she wrote a whole post surrounding a couple of posts from some schmuck called VA, she linked to that vile post... I refuse to link to that crap. It did in fact get me all heated and thinking about it now and typing this out finally, has got my pulse elevated. I did not want to waste my time or blog post due to that bitch but alas here I am. I gave in only because I need to get it off my chest and out of my head in the hopes that this will do just that. Now, to get anything from this one needs to check out my girls post( I still Love you Big Red!), read VA's spewing if you must. I highly suggest that you do not if you are a mother who is or has ever been on WIC. Here I go...

WIC is a short-term intervention program designed to influence lifetime nutrition and health behavior in a targeted high-risk population. WIC is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture. WIC provides nutrition education & services and breastfeeding promotion & education. WIC is in fact Federally funded but it is NOT related to the USDA's Food stamp program.

WIC IS NOT WELFARE!

To inform anyone that reads this about the WIC program here is a plethora of ways in how WIC helps. Also a WIC Fact Sheet that is very informative.

It irritates me that VA's entire rant was based off of some Mom on WIC, which is a program that she can not milk forever. WIC gives out cookbooks, or recipes, and literature on how to feed your children nutritious food. It should be looked at as an educational assistance program.

Now on to one of the many things that rubbed me the wrong way. One of the things I think that is being over looked in the countless discussions on the topic is that there are thousands of Military families that participate in the WIC program. The DOD just does not do the polls to get even a close estimate on how many military families participate in WIC nor the ones that need to be on food stamps. They are out there. They are also out there defending our nation, most of them only getting paid, on average, at or below the national poverty level. I think it is atrocious that our Brave Men and Women do not get paid properly for what they do for each and every one of us day in and day out. They put their lives on the line to defend this country, our freedoms, VA's freedom of speech, however appalling it is, to receive such inadequate pay checks.

Which reminds me of the other point I had to this. There are a lot of men and women who join the military to get out of poverty, to get off of food stamps. They are trying to change, trying to provide for their children, to give them a better life. What happens? Most of the time they are back on food stamps. They get deployed for what is currently 15 month deployments. All because they wanted to provide a better life for their kid. Not all Mom's and Dad's join for that reason... but more and more are. That is reality. In VA's "reality", and unfortunately in many many others who agree with VA, all the men and women who serve that need to be on WIC and Food Stamps are child abusers. Isn't that some shit? How royally fucked up is that?

Happy Birthday Lil' Man!

Today is my youngest man's Birthday. 3 years ago today he arrived in my life and has ruined so many things since. I bet you thought I was going to say how much joy he has brought me and that I am blessed to have him... oh those are true too... but he has changed so many things for me. My back is screwed up, my hips are even wider, the belly is too stretched... the list is endless.

I love my baby. He is my last baby. I get extremely emotional when I think about it. There is nothing else like the smell of your newborn baby. I love that smell. I love those ity bity fingers and toes and nose... that perfectly shaped o mouth, the ultra soft hair. They are tiny little miracles. The sad part is they grow up. They do not stay sweet. They start to stink. They throw tantrums. Just about the only time I can recapture those sweet sweet feelings is to look upon him when he sleeps, then only then does he look innocent again, a pure angel. Just like he did in that picture...he is still a piggie like then and gets food all over his face just like he did when he was 10 days old!

I LOVE My Man!

******* WARNING*******
This Post May Contain Sexually Explicit/Graphic Material/Matter. Not Suitable for The 18 and Under Crowd, Nor the Tight Ass Stuck up Bitches Crowd. You Know Who You Are, Put That Back Button to Good Use!

So for those of you who joined me down here, you are probably in for a HUGE let Down! Today is the One year Anniversary of my husband taking one for the team and getting his baby making vessel in Nut 1 and Nut 2 cut and burned! Burn baby Burn!! He was such a trooper, and such a big BABY! To give him his props they did cut and burn the vas in Nut 2 TWICE. As the Doc' said " It was a slippery lil' booger." And, " It just did not want to come out and play." If my memory serves, it doesn't serve me well,he had to wait 6 weeks after the same day procedure to go back in for his follow up and to get further instruction on when and where to drop off his sample of Baby Gravy, hopefully just plain old Gravy.

During this time we were in the process of moving from a foreign country back to the good ole U. S. of A! We get all settled in our new home, way after his 6 week point, I am nagging him to make an appt. He finally does. I did my wifely duty by asking him what he thought the room would be like. What kind or porn they would offer. Did he think he would be able to preform. Something along those lines anyway and I had him psyched(nervous)!! I love my wifely duties.

He comes home with a brown paper bag, instructions(like he needs them),a cup and plastic bag.He was elated that he was able to jack off in the privacy of our own home. Did that make it easier to Jizz in the cup? NO! You would think that the lack of sex would be my hubby's first hint that he needed to donate some of his Love Juice in the cup. But NOOOO, I had to spell it out for him. That still didn't work. There was this one time he got close but we called the Lab to make sure they would be open on his day off.... NEGATIVE... they were off too!

I am beyond frustrated, I know he is too. Damn-it!! I want to know for sure that there are no more tiny fish swimming around in his Man Milk. I do not want to ASSume that he is in fact fish-less. My desire to never ever ever... eva eva eva eva eva have another child FAR outweighs my desire for the wonderful uninhibited sex my hubby and I would have. I keep dreaming of the day we can have all the uninhibited sex we desire...... Speaking of dreams... I LOVE waking up from my slumber to find myself in the middle of a great big for REAL O that originated from my dream. That is so fucking sweet! Is that brain fucking?

So my wonderful hubby says next week is the week he will Jizz in the cup and take it to the Lab to be tested. I will keep everyONE updated! I leave you with this visual....

Still Love my Joe!

This AM while enjoying my first Cup o' Joe, I stumble upon this from one of my favorite sites....

Like Everybody Who Works for a Living

Guy: You ever try Kopi Luwak?
Girl: No, who is he?
Guy: It's not a he, it's the world's most expensive coffee.
Girl: That's not the coffee that's made from cat shit, is it?
Guy: It's not made from cat shit.
Girl: They pick the beans out of the cat shit.
Guy: Sort of.
Girl: So that posers like you can drink it.
Guy: You don't understand the concept of gourmet.
Girl: Maybe not, but I understand the concept of eating shit.

I laughed to the point my Joe almost came out of my nose. Then I went for a refill.

Bubble Guts

My youngest man has bubble guts, that have turned into just straight liquid. This afternoon he wakes up from his nap early with a very unpleasant diaper... this diaper was the beginning of the liquid as it poured out the sides once it was opened. After that I proceeded to change his diaper 8 times in a 5 hr time span. For those that don't know that is really abnormal. I got all 3 lil' men to bed and the youngest keeps coming upstairs. He has gotten out of bed 7 times in less than an hour. That is abnormal for him. I checked his diaper each and every time to make sure it wasn't the poo. He is tired, he is not feeling well, he had a shorter nap than usual... there is no reason to keep getting out of bed.

I know no one wants to read about runny poo but I have to talk about it to get where I really want to go. After I put my 3 lil' men to bed each night it becomes ME time. It is when I finally get to hear the sweet sounds of silence. I get to do whatever I want UNINTERRUPTED! It was ME time and I was being interrupted, with each tromp up the stairs I was getting more and more irritated. I was also getting irritated with it all knowing that I have another LONG sleep deprived night ahead of me. NOT because I wont be going to bed at the Mommy bedtime but because I know I am in for a long night of runny poo diapers, and quite possibly poo jammies and poo bedding and I do not know what I will do if he gets poo on his Blinkie. That will be a fit I do not want to deal with in the middle of the wee hours.

Oh, a Momma's work is never done. I wish I could clock out. This is a prime example why I choose to be a stay-at-home Momma. I would not want to have to get up at 6AM,let's say, to get ready for a job after a full nights work of changing runny poo, poo sheets, poo kid..... It is not fun, I have done it before... this is a fact of Motherhood, these nights will happen whether you choose to be a working Momma or a stay-at-home Momma. I am glad I can give food for thought, or in this case poo for thought, to all those who haven't gone down Momma Road.

Lesson 1,234,72...learned

I've lost track of exactly how many lessons I have learned, but I seem to say "I've learned my lesson." or "Lesson Learned" a whole heck of a lot! Last night I was so supper excited about starting a blog. What I was really stoked about was my BFF giving me such awesome kudos! So there I was staying up way past my bedtime fixing my page, adding my own photo,(yes, I took that photo)and chatting with my BFF.

I was up til 12:30 am, actually past that because when I went to bed I found my mind was racing with a million and one thoughts. That happens to me quite often. Seems to me that little time has passed and I hear my puppy dog puke! I get up let him outside and crawl back in bed. It is 2:30AM. Next thing I know I hear my youngest man tromping up the stairs, he takes it upon himself to let the pup inside! He wants his diaper changed, I do as he wishes. We tromp back downstairs. I try to lay him down when he says," I need socks!" Over and over and over again. I dig through his drawer find the socks to put on his precious feeties and finally lay him back down. I crawl back into bed. It is now 4:15AM. It feels to my sleep deprived brain that when my husbands alarm goes off at 6AM that my head just hit the pillow. I never went back to sleep as my youngest man was up in 40 minutes. The lesson I learned, I need a bedtime just like my Lil' Men do and I need to stick to it!

Where I was really going with all this, was to say I entered my first "Give That Photo a Name Contest" held by Pioneer Woman this morning! So there I sat all 7 kinds of sleep deprived trying to think of my first photo title. Would you look at me? I rocked! I was so flippin' happy with myself. I was truly amazed I came up with such wit being so malnourished in the sleep department. I do not think I have a shot at winning, so many far superior entries, I probably will not even get props from Ree... though that would totally rock my day... I am perfectly content in my own personal bliss. I must retire, the toothpicks are starting to buckle... eyelids too heavy....

Katie Bar the Door

I am going to start off full force, so watch out you have been warned...
I have a son with ADHD and my tolerance level of how other ppl treat him has reached its limit and then some. I am sick of ppl treating him like a big piece of shit. Accusing him that he does things that he does not do, bullying him into saying he did in fact do something he is being accused of just so that he wont get in trouble because no one but myself believes in him. They have this preconceived notion since he has impulse control that if anything bad happens then he did it. I am fed up. I know my son lies but when faced with punishment he will fess up. He is a very bad liar.He caves in so quickly.

While over at a friends house he was accused by the mom that he was the one boy out of 3 that was throwing stuffed animals. when this mother confronted him she said I know you threw them, tell me the truth and you will only be grounded from my house for one day, lie to me and you will be grounded from my house for one week. so what does my child do? He LIES and says he threw the stuffed animals when in fact he did not(her youngest son did) just to be able to get the lesser punishment. I know I need to get the story from the mother, to talk to her but at the moment i am just way to livid to have a civilized conversation with anyone. That fact has lead me to vent in one way that may just end up being beneficial for me. The only person who may read this is my BFF and it saves me from typing all this out in an instant message session! I know one reason I am so hot is that I am a person who hates being accused of doing something that I did not do. It makes me twitch...

I had a friend several years ago that did not hide her dislike of my son. Her dislike was solely based on his lack of attention and impulse control. He is not badly behaved, yes he has his moments like all children, nor do I claim him to be an angel. I never called her on it. You could hear the disgust in her voice when she addressed him. Yes, I am guilty of wishing that her child be blessed with some form of ADD/ADHD just so that she can get a taste of what it is like. I know I am horrible for wishing that but its the facts, I felt bad for a minute and then I got over it. You should too.
