Lisa's Chaos is today's lovely hostess for Fun Monday. I have bowed out for a few weeks but I just had to join in on this one! She has set forth this challenge:

Uh, wait a minute. What was I thinking? Hey there's one. I don't think things through too well before I do them. Act first, ask questions later.
I do not like my food to touch each other. It's just not right. I mean they just need to get a room already! They will get that room once inside my belly!
I repeat myself when talking. I will rephrase my point at least twice. When I talk to people I will say what it is I want to say at least a couple different ways. ;) Except for right now, I do not do it on purpose. I try to be conscious of it but most times I can't help it.
I do not like odd numbers. When piercing my ears I had to have the same amount on each ear. There is 4 in each ear...well except for that one in my rt ear up in the cartilage but it would just look wrong to have one in the same place on my left ear, but it still bugs me. Other than THAT I hate odd numbers of things. Oh crap! That means I hate the # of kids I have. No. Wait. That is true. Back when I had only one child I knew that if I ever had 3 kids I would just HAVE to have another to make it even. That makes me laugh. 3 kids is too much for me, I deal the best I can, but there is no way I would have a 4th just for the sake of making it even.
I have many more quirks. I am positive that what I have just shared is more than enough.

Ch-ch-check it out!
Wh-wh-what's it all about? I think I have been spending entirely too much time with my music.
No, seriously. I have been trying to re-create my Road Trip play list. I had made a CD years ago but for about the past 2 years I have not been able to find it. Since classic road trip songs never change it has been rather easy recreating it, except I have a bad memory when it comes to names either artist or song, usually both. I feel confidant I have not missed any song that was on my original. This time I have been able to add more of my favorite road trip songs to the mix. Thank you creator of the mp3 player!
I really want everyone to CHECK OUT what I received in the mail yesterday!

It is a purse. Handmade! Completely machine washable,correct me if I'm wrong Suzi Q!
Isn't it delightful? It's delicious! It's de-lovely! Can you see why I couldn't resist? I fell in love with these colors/stripes/dots so deeply that I didn't even bother to ask what size it was. It is a medium and Robinella(links to her post about all 5 of her Suzi Q purses) is right, get a large. Suzi Q even said the handles are longer on her large purses. If you have petite shoulders then I'm sure a medium would be fine. Or maybe it has to do with my height? I am only letting you know because I am sure you will go check out Miss Suzi Q and fall in love with your own purse that you will want to call your very own!
Don't forget any young girls in your life that would love one of these too!

Q&A with Kaytabug Part 10
Irish Coffeehouse has asked me a few foreign related questions. This looks to be the last in the Q&A series but if you didn't get a chance to ask me a question feel free to head on down to this post and ask away.
How many languages can you speak? One, English.
When you lived in Germany, did you actually speak German before going there? And while there, how much of their language did you use? I did take German for 3 years in H.S., so I did speak German before living there but I can not fluently speak German. I only used small amounts of German while I lived there. I was too afraid of screwing it, saying the wrong thing the wrong way. Luckily I lived where most spoke English so I wasn't forced to use it but I always said Please and Thank you in German. I can understand more than I can speak.
If you could vacation for an extended amount of time or live abroad anywhere in the world, where would it be? Italy, Ireland, England, Greece. I'd say Scotland as well but I wouldn't be able to handle hearing men talk, I would just melt! I'd be putty in their hands.

Spillway
Did I say I'd have these pictures up Tuesday? I meant to say Thursday! Yea.
These pictures should have been in this post. The Spillway is a favorite place of mine in KS. It is located at Tuttle Creek Lake, that lake has a dam. Here is a little history on the Spillway courtesy of Wikipedia.
"The value of the dam was proven during the Great Flood of 1993, when floodwaters reaching up to 63 feet (19 m) above normal were held back. However, when the dam reached capacity in July 1993, it necessitated the first release of the spillway. All 18 gates on the spillway were raised 4 feet (1.2 m) during the peak of the flood, producing a flow rate of 60,000 cubic feet per second (1,700 m³/s). The roar of the water was audible half a mile (800 m) away and some people in nearby Manhattan reported hearing the noise. After three weeks the gates were closed, revealing a 20-foot (6.1 m) deep canyon that had been carved in the earth of the spillway channel. The exposed rock is 290 million years old."
I took these photos of the Spillway in August 1995. If I remember correctly they have the Spillway fenced off now so that people are unable to climb down in it. Maybe this July I will try to make it up there and take current photos of it. Click on any of these to make them bigger.
I was always in awe to look at what water could do to rock and earth. Back then I didn't know how old the rock was that I was looking at. Whenever I was there I always felt like I was on ancient sacred ground. 290 million years is pretty damn ancient!!

Daily Dose
Now is the time at Lady K's in which I give you my Daily Dose!
~ I heart Tar-jay! I stocked up on more Method stuff and bought 3 new shorts!
~ Why does Abercrombie and you know who STINK? I couldn't walk past the damn store without covering my nose. Did they break a buttload of vile cologne all over the stores floor? Does that stench really need to be right next to the Food court, wafting it's putridness over the people trying to eat? And another thing, why did it have to be across from Stankee Candle?!
~ From this day forward I shall call them Abercrombie & Stench and Stankee Candle. Copyright Kaytabug 2008.
~ I feel sorry for the lil peeping Tina that decided to look under the dressing room at NY and Co. while her mom was trying on clothes in the stall next to me. She will need therapy someday.
~ I don't like shopping without out a female opinion companion. FOC.
~ Why is it that when I walked into half the stores at the mall I felt like I didn't belong in them? I felt like everyone was looking at me saying "You're too old to shop here." or "Nothing is going to fit you in here."
~ Then I would see at least one person who looked more out of place than me and I felt better.( Yep, that is nice speak for, I saw someone older or fatter than me. You wanna make somethin' of it?)
~ My day shopping without kids in tow(which is the ONLY way I will clothes shop), was spoiled by the 2nd phone call from the service guy telling me that there was something else he found that needed to be fixed. I wanted to ask if he would accept a first born son as payment.
~ The maintenance on 2 cars, one yesterday and one today, was almost 1,400 dollars. What's that saying? An ounce of preventative maintenance is ... fucking outrageously expensive or maybe it's more like getting it up you know where but by an elephant! It better be worth every damn penny!
~ Imagine being in anisle aisle at Hobby Lobby, the only people in that isle aisle are you and a grey haired elderly man you don't know. All of a sudden you hear Marvin Gay singing "Let's get it on", it's coming from the mans pocket. Could you resist busting a gut laughing?
~ I wonder how many people in the mall laughed when they heard the ring tone for my Hubby. They must of thought I had my own Alvin tucked in my purse singing "Bow Chika Wow wow Chika Wow wow"!
Photos I promised from Monday's post will show up one of these days. I am coming down with a serious head cold. Thanks baby boy.

Q&A with Kaytabug Part 9
The lovely Jenni from the oh so fragrant Prairie Air has asked me a bunch of Kansas related questions.
Here are a couple I know will be easy for you to answer.
What are your favorite Kansas places? Wow I have a lot of favorite places in Ks.I'll name a few. One would have to be Harvey County West Lake/Park. It has a beautiful Nature trail that I love to walk. I was married there, not on the trails or Lakeside but on the park grounds under the Cottonwoods. Pillsbury Crossing near Manhattan, KS which is located in another favorite place of mine, The Flint Hills. Tuttle Creek Lake, more specifically the Spillway. It doesn't look the same as it did when I used to go there often, but it is still a favorite place. If I get the chance to scan I will share pictures here. Looks like I will be sharing those photos Tuesday.
What do you love most about Kansas? Are you kidding me? I have talked about my love of KS in this post and in this one, scroll down to the picture of 3 girls on bikes. What follows that picture is some things that I heart about KS. I'll share some more here for those non link clickers. I love the wide open spaces, the fact that you can see for miles and miles and miles and miles! I love the Flint Hills, the rolling sea of grass. I love the people. I never knew how I took it for granted until I lived in NYC. Actually I didn't even realize that I loved the way people are in Kansas until I lived in NYC. I don't know how to explain it but even my hubs has said that sometimes the niceness of people in KS is almost too much. I love complete strangers saying Hi as you walk past them, holding doors open for complete strangers, returning your wallet to your doorstep when you were having a blonde moment and left it on the top of your car when you were filling it up with gas. Good people. The stars seem to shine brighter in KS, the air actually smells fresher, cleaner. I love the beauty of the state, even though it took me leaving her to realize how beautiful she was and how much I loved her.
Now that I sound like a complete freakazoid I will move on to the next question!
If you could live anywhere, where would it be? (Be specific!) I would love to live in the Manhattan,KS area. Preferably in the country. My second choice would have to be in the country outside of my hometown. Ever since my first visit to Manhattan I felt like I was home. I still feel that way whenever I go visit.
Where can you buy sunbutter? (I'm guessing that is sunflower nut butter.) She guesses correctly. I buy it at the Dillons store in my hometown. It is located in the "organic" section. Most health food stores should carry it. Sunbutter comes in 6 varieties. Natural Crunch is my favorite. It does come in Organic for those organic lovers. I like sunbutter better than Peanut Butter. It is an alternative for those with peanut allergy's.
What is the quirkiest Kansas place you've been to? Lucas, Kansas. Hands down. Any place that has this and is Home of The World's Largest Collection of The Worlds Smallest Versions of The Worlds Largest Things is beyond quirky.
What is your favorite flower? (I bet I know.) Yes Jenni, I bet you do know. ;) The Sunflower, which happens to be the State flower of Kansas. I also love daisies and roses. Those are my top 3 for sure. Those 3 were also in my wedding bouquet, along with a few sprigs of wheat( for my Mom's parents who were wheat farmers,my Grandpa passed when I was 17 and my Grandma M. passed 5 months before my wedding. My Grandma P. had passed 3 months before my wedding and the roses represented her) and other native Kansas wildflowers.

Hubby or Wife
This is the meme that Janet tagged me for ages ago! It could have been titled Him or Me... I hope you enjoy. I am sure that the hubs will correct anything I may have gotten wrong. He is so quick to show I am wrong...Why wasn't that question on here??? Today is the day he proposed to me, 11 years ago.
How long did you date? I don't really know when we started dating. Our relationship did not start out quite normal and I'm not talking about how we met. If we started dating when he left for Bosnia then the answer would be... 2 years and 4 months.
How old is he? 31
Who eats more? HIM!
Who said “I love you” first? I don't have a clue...so maybe that means it was him?!
Who is taller? That would be me, thank you very much. I am 5'11 and 3/4 inches he is a mere 5'9
Who sings better? Me, the poor fellow is tone deaf.
Who is smarter? Him
Whose temper is worse? His, but I come in a close second!
Who does the laundry? Me. He will do his laundry if he needs it done and I haven't gotten to it yet, but that's all he does.
Who does the dishes? Me. He does do an occasional dishwasher load, and he will do it when asked but the majority is me.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? If you are standing at the foot of our bed,facing it, he is on the right...but in my mind I am on the right as I roll out of bed to my right...that way I don't get out on the wrong side of bed. It sure doesn't help my morning grumpiness.
Who pays the bills? 100% me.
Who cooks dinner? Me. He will cook a few things, and he grills.
Who drives when you are together? ME. I am a control freak like that. I am a horrible passenger. I stomp on my imaginary break when am in the passenger seat, for anyone...even my Mom.
Who is more stubborn? That would be me, though he has a strong stubborn side, I still win this one.
Who kissed who first? Um really we both did don't ya think?
Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? That is a toss up.
Whose parents do you see the most? MINE. His make a yearly visit, now that we live in the states. I have a very close relationship with my Mom.
Who proposed? He did, over the phone while I was in Kansas and he was on the other end of the line in Bosnia.
Who is more sensitive? ME
Who has more friends? ME
Who has more siblings? Neither of us, we are both only children.
Who wears the pants in the family? He only gets to wear pants to work,which makes that answer me.

Q&A with Kaytabug Part 8
My most favorite Hineykapoople, Beckie has asked me a few questions. I have forgotten to mention in my last 2 posts that if you have a question you would like to ask me, head on over to this post and ask away. Don't forget to be careful what you ask for. Nikki found that out the hard way. ;)
On to Beckie's questions.
How is that exercise program doing?
It all started with my realization that not only had I been wearing fat pants I had moved on to wearing fat shirts, then I finally shared my workout play list. What really got my lazy fat ass motivated was finding out my number. At the time of that post I needed to loose 20 lbs to get into the normal weight BMI range. I got SICK right before my in-laws came for their annual visit, that helped to shed a good 5lbs. What I am most stoked about is the fact that I bought the Wii Fit. I pre-ordered that bad ride back in April and ever since the last day of May the Wii Fit has been rockin' my fat ass!! I L.O.V.E. my Wii Fit. I am now only 11 pounds away from my goal!! I will continue the Fit the rest of the summer with walks here and there. Come Mid-August when school starts up again you will find me back at the gym! I'll still be doing the Fit on the days I can't make it and the days that aren't gym days. I think the Fit has been a perfect way to ease my inactive ass back into working out. The way I see it, by the time I will be able to hit the gym again I'll be able to hit it full force like I used to.
How hot was it today where you are at?
Beckie asked her questions on June 12th, the high that day was 88. June 13th we were to have a high of 76. Today the 18th of June it was 78. Tomorrow same thing. I am loving this mild weather. It is mild for this time of year. Normal temps are at least in the 85 range. I am so not complaining. Lat summer we only had a couple weeks of 70 degree highs then it went straight to upper 90's!
Are you going on any good vacations this summer?
Vacation? What is that? We don't do vacations. Not because we are too good for vacations or whatever we just don't do them. The closest we get to a vacation is me taking the boys home to Kansas, staying with my Mom, taking them to swim lessons at the local pool, and taking them to other favorite places like the Zoo and stuff. I am a laid back kinda gal. Itinerary's and schedules make my ass twitch. I like to go with the flow. I also do not like MAJOR crowds. Zoo crowds aren't major, but I'm guessing a Zoo in a city with an estimated population of 357,698 doesn't have MAJOR crowds. We are going home, to Kansas, in July. Just me and the kids. The Fit is coming too. The 9 lbs I have lost would go right back on after eating at my 2 most favorite restaurants. I won't just be eating at their fine establishments just once,not just twice, maybe not even thrice, at minimum 4 times each restaurant. How I love Mexican and "German" food. I grew up eating at these restaurants. My Mom was never a cook so these 2 restaurants are like soul food for me, like Mom's home cookin' is for most.
Do you like to go camping?
NO. I love the outdoors but I can't sleep on the ground or in a bag. I would miss the comforts of home too damn much. Where's my DVR? Is there Wi-Fi out here? Where is that porcelain goddess? I LOATH porta-potties. Doing my bidness out in the woods just doesn't appeal to me. If you were talking RV camping, I'd be all over that! I know, I know RV's have a built in porta-potty that has to be emptied. That's what husbands are for, to get rid of all that bowl nectar.
On to Beckie's questions.
How is that exercise program doing?
It all started with my realization that not only had I been wearing fat pants I had moved on to wearing fat shirts, then I finally shared my workout play list. What really got my lazy fat ass motivated was finding out my number. At the time of that post I needed to loose 20 lbs to get into the normal weight BMI range. I got SICK right before my in-laws came for their annual visit, that helped to shed a good 5lbs. What I am most stoked about is the fact that I bought the Wii Fit. I pre-ordered that bad ride back in April and ever since the last day of May the Wii Fit has been rockin' my fat ass!! I L.O.V.E. my Wii Fit. I am now only 11 pounds away from my goal!! I will continue the Fit the rest of the summer with walks here and there. Come Mid-August when school starts up again you will find me back at the gym! I'll still be doing the Fit on the days I can't make it and the days that aren't gym days. I think the Fit has been a perfect way to ease my inactive ass back into working out. The way I see it, by the time I will be able to hit the gym again I'll be able to hit it full force like I used to.
How hot was it today where you are at?
Beckie asked her questions on June 12th, the high that day was 88. June 13th we were to have a high of 76. Today the 18th of June it was 78. Tomorrow same thing. I am loving this mild weather. It is mild for this time of year. Normal temps are at least in the 85 range. I am so not complaining. Lat summer we only had a couple weeks of 70 degree highs then it went straight to upper 90's!
Are you going on any good vacations this summer?
Vacation? What is that? We don't do vacations. Not because we are too good for vacations or whatever we just don't do them. The closest we get to a vacation is me taking the boys home to Kansas, staying with my Mom, taking them to swim lessons at the local pool, and taking them to other favorite places like the Zoo and stuff. I am a laid back kinda gal. Itinerary's and schedules make my ass twitch. I like to go with the flow. I also do not like MAJOR crowds. Zoo crowds aren't major, but I'm guessing a Zoo in a city with an estimated population of 357,698 doesn't have MAJOR crowds. We are going home, to Kansas, in July. Just me and the kids. Q&A with Kaytabug Part 7
My favorite NOT a Stepford Wife Robinella has asked me this, "I don't know what prompted the Grandma's Things posting you were going to do, but that's my question. When are you going to do those posts?"
Good question. This post is what prompted the Grandma's Treasures posts I wanted to do. I tried to take pictures but they just didn't do the treasures justice. I wanted to make a light box in the hopes that would help, I haven't made the darn box. Now I want to get a better camera. So it may still be a while before I get to those posts but I have not forgotten them. I still want to share my Grandma's Treasures.
Now for a sneak peak/wet your whistle/teaser here are a few photos I took back in February. When I wanted to start these posts.

Q&A with Kaytabug Part 6
Part 6 of my Q&A is brought to you by that wee feisty bitch AFF. She wants to know "What is your favorite piece of furniture in your house and why." If you have been reading me long and most of you have I can't pick one of anything. I was able to narrow it down to 3 pieces that are near and dear to me. I actually have 5 pieces that are equally near and dear but I picked the 3 easiest to photo.
This first one was built entirely by my Grandpa P.(Paternal) There were 2 of these corner cabinets. The other had different hardware. My Grandpa built the 2 cabinets for their home. When they moved to KS, the ceilings in their new home were not tall enough so they gave the set to my Mom and Dad. My Mom let my Dad have them in the divorce and then my Dad let his house go to shit. When my Grandpa died my Dad moved into his Dad's house and let his house go into further decay. I was only able to salvage this one. It was my favorite one anyway. I guess I like the hardware better. I am sad I couldn't have both but I at least have one piece of furniture that he built with his hands. There was a dresser he built that we tried to get out as well but it was in worse shape than the other corner cabinet. Umm, AFF didn't ask for the furnitures life story, my bad.
This chair is from my Grandma M.(Maternal) It was part of her dining room chairs. When she passed away they were divided between the 3 sisters and one went to me. It is not the most comfortable chair but I cherish this chair. I think of her every time I look at it. I also think of all the wonderful meals and family company that was had at her table.
This piece is from my Grandma and Grandpa P.'s house. This one belonged to my Grandpa's side of the family, either his parents or his parents parents. It was painted white and my Grandma P. stripped it down to the bare wood you see here. She meant to stain it but never did. I take after my Grandma P.!
So there you have it the what and why of my favorite pieces of furniture. I suppose someone will ask about the other 2. Nothing fancy. One is a cedar chest that used to be up in my Grandma and Grandpa M's Attic. It contained 1920 and '30's dress up clothes. How I wish I had the contents of the chest. They were sold or thrown out or taken to a thrift shop when they moved from the farm to a retirement community. I have the chest which just looking at it takes me back to good times. It now holds a quilt from each of my Grandmothers, various memorabilia, and keepsakes from my boys. I think I need a bigger box.
The 5th piece is a wooden desk from my Grandma P.'s side of the family. It belonged to her father. It is plain Jane, has three drawers on each side and a very shallow one in the middle. For years I have wanted to get an old school desk pad to place on top of it. Now you have the full what and why of my fave 5!

Is anyone sick of these Q&A posts yet? Not I. It is giving me something to post about. Actually after this one there is only 2 more left. Storyteller and Lisa Marie didn't ask a question so that just leaves AFF and Robinella's questions. Don't cry. You still have time to go ask a question if you haven't done so yet. Well Bev, I hate to disappoint you but my hubby is not romantic. I was proposed to over the phone. Even when he was able to do it in person he never did. Back in our "courtship" he used to write me beautiful love letters, I haven't received one of those in YEARS. He sent me a mix tape trying to say it was made for the love he hadn't met yet. That he would give it to her when he met her...I fell for it, and made one for him. Back and forth we went with our soundtracks of love. We are up to 7 now. If there was one big romantic thing that he has done, I'm going to be in big trouble for not remembering it. Oh, there was that one time...nahhh there is nothing romantic about telling me I look sexy while laying flat on the floor crawling towards the bathroom pucking my guts out. I do think he cleaned up after me though.
Romance is DEAD, at least in my home it is.

Today's Q&A is brought to you by that wild and crazy gal Nikki. She had the gall to ask me, "Have you ever had that not so fresh feeling?"
She really likes this question....check this out. I had Strawberry Shortcake answer : Why no I haven't! I always smell like strawberries! Sweet,fresh,strawberries!
Didn't they used to make a strawberry smelling douche? If they did they don't anymore. That's such a shame. Nikki brought this on, so now I am going to share with you the conversation Nikki and I had from my SS answer.

Me: LOL! But she REALLY does!!!
Nikki: I don't know. I've never smelled her crotch before.
Me: Laughing so hard I have tears in my eyes. I never smelled her crotch either but the shortcake I had as a child smelled like strawberries. The blueberry girl smelled like blueberries...they don't make them that way anymore? Still laughing...
Nikki: Do I need to check for you? Please don't say yes.
Me: OMG...stop cracking me up. If she is a happy meal toy then I bet they didn't scent those anyway. If you're ever in toys-r-us give one a wiff.
Nikki: Nope, not a happy meal toy. She is a genuine 1980's Shortcake doll. I bet you're impressed now.
Me: ohhhh yes I am and Now I am going to ass you to smell her!!! bwahahaha
Nikki: Ya know, her hat has lost that magical strawberry smell. Something tells me her nether regions have too.
Me: Well... then your shortcake does experience that not so fresh feeling. How sad.
Nikki: Shall I offer her a spritz of Febreeze?
Me: Sure! That's how I keep things fresh in the bedroom!!!(Thanks Jeff Dunham for my funny comeback!)
Nikki: I'm just not going to go there.
Now I am wondering if there is a Strawberry scented Febreeze. Just because I don't shove any sunshine and I tell it like it is(I so wish I could figure out how to get my "tagline" to show up in my header) my answer to Nikki's question is yes I have. I don't think it's possible to feel fresh during that time of the month . Nor do I feel fresh after my hubs leaves a deposit in my love bank. I am sure this is all TMI but she asked! Don't forget if you are coming late to my party and haven't asked me a question yet head on down to this post and ask away. Just remember, be careful what you ask for!!

Q&A with Kaytabug Part 3
This Q&A session is brought to you by my BFF Fianna. She asked a shit load of questions so let's just get down to it.
Will you ever cross into Texas again? When are you getting married?
If you were guaranteed a girl, and it was possible, would you have another kid? Wow that is a very tough question. The entire 9 months I was pregnant with my oldest I thought I was having a girl, that is how bad I wanted one. I was sad and depressed when she turned out to be a he. Words cannot express how badly,truly,and deeply I wanted a girl. Each time I was pregnant I yearned for a girl. If it was a 100% guarantee that I would give birth to a GIRL, I would. Way back in the day when I only had one child I said if I ever had 3 kids I'd have to have a 4th just to make it even. But that will never happen.
Is that your real hair color? No
Why does my cat puke daily? Why doesn't the kitten eat it anymore? Yoda eats more than she should. Kittens tastes have changed!
Who invented coffee? Can I hug them? According to Wiki you would have to hug what remains would be left of an Ethiopian shepherd from the 9th century. I am guessing you could go to Ethiopia and climb some hilltop and dig up some dirt and hug it if you like. Arabia seems to be the birthplace where the process of roasting and brewing it to drink first took place. Hug an Arab. I think I will just stick to hugging my cup of Joe.
What is your favorite way to drink coffee? (Iced, cappucino, creamer, etc.) If we are talking hot joe then I like sugar and Creamer...Hazelnut creamer, but any form of dairy or non dairy creamer works just fine! I also enjoy cappucino hot or iced. I am not a fan of the froth. But a shot of espresso is sometimes just what I need.
What is your favorite sandwich? I can only pick one? I really enjoy sandwiches. I LOVE LOVE BLT's. Sunbutter and honey sandwiches are the bomb. Deli meat, preferably turkey and ham with lettuce, tomato and cheese...provolone or havarti. OH! I LOVE a hot ham(thinly sliced) and swiss! A cucumber and hummus pita sandwich. I could go on.
Will you mail me your Wii? No, but you can come play with it anytime you want! My offer still stands that if I find one I'll front you, buy it, and mail it to you.
What alternative names could Nintendo have used that would sound even more dirty than Wii, but still pass it off as a gaming system? The creative juices are not flowing. All I have is Pii, and Dii. I'm stuck on their double ii. I think you have Wii envy!

Baby Boy aka Lil' Man turns 4
Today was my baby boys 4th Birthday. Several times yesterday I caught myself just staring at him, trying to soak it in, reminding myself that it was the last day he would be 3. I did this post last year. I should have done today's in advance but I am not good at planing ahead. I was going to give you a photo for every month from one year to 2 years but...that would be too much.(I still gave you 12 anyway!) I thought of putting them in a slide...but that was too much work. I will share a few from the evolution of hair file I made up last year when I had his hair cut. This is a little different for me...for my older 2's b-day posts I shared a few photos from birth to 1...this is a tad out of the norm for me...but all of the birth to 1 photos are on the external hard drive and I am hiding out in the toy room since everyone is a sleep, I can't blog in the living room because that is where my Dad is sleeping on the couch and I have nowhere else to blog! Anyway...Hope you enjoy.

Let me be honest, even if I could have accessed my external hard drive to share birth to 1 photos of my youngest I wouldn't have, because I couldn't have dealt with it emotionally...I am all welled up with tears right now just typing about it!
I wish I could do up the kind of Birthday posts I see most ppl do...there is always next year!

I have been having the hardest time coming up with an answer to Janet's question. If you haven't asked me a question head on down to this post and ask away! WT, I guess I didn't link to you in your Q&A post because everyone knows you. It just wouldn't be fair to link all the other's that asked questions and leave you out, so consider yourself linked!
Janet asked me "if you weren't YOU, who would you want to be?" I have no profound answer, nor do I have a witty/snarky/or funny one. There is no one person I would rather be. I would like to know what it was like to live the life my Grandmother's lived, or to know what it was like to live back in Little House on the Prairie days, I'd even like to know what it is like to live life as a man.
Janet I am sorry I am unable to answer your question. I can answer your first question that you thought was somehow wrong.... "boxers or briefs?" If I assume that you mean which do I prefer seeing on men? The answer would be hands down boxers, or those boxer briefs but in no way shape or form do I prefer tighty whiteys not black nor red, not blue or green...I do not like them Sam I am!

Janet asked me "if you weren't YOU, who would you want to be?" I have no profound answer, nor do I have a witty/snarky/or funny one. There is no one person I would rather be. I would like to know what it was like to live the life my Grandmother's lived, or to know what it was like to live back in Little House on the Prairie days, I'd even like to know what it is like to live life as a man.
Janet I am sorry I am unable to answer your question. I can answer your first question that you thought was somehow wrong.... "boxers or briefs?" If I assume that you mean which do I prefer seeing on men? The answer would be hands down boxers, or those boxer briefs but in no way shape or form do I prefer tighty whiteys not black nor red, not blue or green...I do not like them Sam I am!

The furthest I have traveled from home was 4943 miles (7954 km) as the crow flies.

Q&A with Kaytabug Part 1
Late last night I posted my Blogiversary post. The questions are still coming in. If you haven't asked your question yet get on down to this post and ask away. I have decided not to clump all of the Q&A's into one post. I will be trying to make a post out of each question when possible.
Today's Q&A is brought to you by the letters W and T. He asked, "Ok, here's what I want to know, what was your first pet's name, and what kind of pet was it. If it wasn't a dog, what was your first dog's name and what kind of dog was it?"
Well WT, my first pet was a dog. I was 3 years old when my Dad brought home a tiny little puppy. I named her Annie after Raggedy Ann, she was my favorite doll at the time. Annie was aBrittany. My Dad said he got her for me, that she was my dog but he bought her to hunt with. He trained her well and she loved going hunting with my Dad. She loved playing fetch with me, and loved having her belly rubbed. What dog doesn't love a god belly rub?!! As a bonus, WT gets pictures to go with his answer! Click on them to enlarge them.
This last one I took approximately a year before she died. She lived 15 wonderful years. I loved her very much. It wasn't long after she passed away that my Mom's friend bought a male Brittney for me. I named him Andy. My Mom ended up being Andy's owner. I tried to keep him once I finally had a place that allowed me to have pets but he literally climbed the fence. I couldn't figure out how he was getting out so I watched him one day and saw him climb the fence with my own eyes. I never would have believed it if I hadn't watched it happen. Andy only lived 7 years,he got sick and had to be put to sleep. I know I will always have a soft spot for Brittney's. So as not to end this on a downer I was given a Husky mix in 1997. I named him Neko, he's still kickin'. We bought a Yellow Lab October 2006. We named him Luke, he will turn 2 at the end of August. That's my dog story and I'm stickin' to it!

Happy What-a-versary?!
Further proof that I have been a sucky blogger lately...do you really need more? Sure ya do!
Today is my blogiversary and I all but missed it. Since it is 11:06 PM on the 3rd day of June I still get to say that today is my one year blogging anniversary! Whoopadeedoo. No contests, no prizes, no party....I do however have 3 small children if anyone is interested. They are all potty trained.
Anyone have any ideas what I could have done to celebrate my blogiversary? As of 11:12 PM on the 3rd day of June 2008 I have had 10,775 page loads in my one year of blogging. I am sure the majority of those are from all the wild and bizarre searches! I just checked and none are worthy of any mention. Right now the majority are "Piss cutter", "Lady K"(which I believe is some singer), "clap with your pump" and many MANY variations of that. When I started getting a ton of hits with those searches I tried finding what these people were looking for. I narrowed it down to 2 different songs...thought of posting them but they sucked. I didn't want that crap on my blog.
I know! I have been at this for an entire year, how about a good ole Q&A session?! You ask a question and I get a post out of it. You know you are just dying to know something. Ask away.
