Fun Monday Quirky Me
Lisa's Chaos is today's lovely hostess for Fun Monday. I have bowed out for a few weeks but I just had to join in on this one! She has set forth this challenge:

"A quirk is defined as a peculiarity of action, behavior, or personality; mannerism. We are all unique individuals, having quirks that help make us who we are. I would like to know what your quirks are."

Uh, wait a minute. What was I thinking? Hey there's one. I don't think things through too well before I do them. Act first, ask questions later.

I do not like my food to touch each other. It's just not right. I mean they just need to get a room already! They will get that room once inside my belly!

I repeat myself when talking. I will rephrase my point at least twice. When I talk to people I will say what it is I want to say at least a couple different ways. ;) Except for right now, I do not do it on purpose. I try to be conscious of it but most times I can't help it.

I do not like odd numbers. When piercing my ears I had to have the same amount on each ear. There is 4 in each ear...well except for that one in my rt ear up in the cartilage but it would just look wrong to have one in the same place on my left ear, but it still bugs me. Other than THAT I hate odd numbers of things. Oh crap! That means I hate the # of kids I have. No. Wait. That is true. Back when I had only one child I knew that if I ever had 3 kids I would just HAVE to have another to make it even. That makes me laugh. 3 kids is too much for me, I deal the best I can, but there is no way I would have a 4th just for the sake of making it even.

I have many more quirks. I am positive that what I have just shared is more than enough.
Make sure that you head over to Lisa's to see what a lot of other bloggers quirks are.

Because of you repeat talking I had to go over and add another one to mine. I repeat question. :)

Odd numbers, really? I have four kids, you want 'em? I alwasy wanted three as I thought four would be too much. But I swear to you anything over two is too much. :)

    Thanx for playing! :)

    I repeat things when I'm pissed...and that's when I know I'm pissed!

    Happy Monday!

Hmmm, alot of people have that same food thing..no touchy-touchy! I know someone who refuses to eat anything green. If you don't want your food touching, then do you ever eat casseroles????

    Have a great week!

I mix all of my food! It drives my Hubby crazy who eats only 1 thing at a time on his entire plate! Meat, then vege 1, then vege 2. How do we stay married??

  5. yeah, step AWAY from the fourth-child concept. been there did that.

of course, i got a fifth by marriage. and i'm NOT having a 6th. lololol

  6. I live with my asperger's son, so quirks are a way of life. And he's not alone...

  7. nikki Says:

I have 4 piercings in each ear too. Quinky-dink, I think not. Sisters from another mother.

  8. Jeanna Says:

Were you born on an even day?

  9. susan Says:

When it came to having kids, I insisted on an even number so that nobody would be ganged up on. So it was either 2, 4 or 6. Thank goodness for my sanity we went with 2. They gang up on each other.

  10. Tiggerlane Says:

I'm like you on the odd numbers...but only when I can SEE the numbers. However, I'm okay with multiples of five.

  11. Olive Says:

You know, I am the complete opposite - things have to be in odd numbers. There was someone other that mentioned not having their food touch the other food on this FM.

  12. Faye Says:

Yes, I agree that even number of piercings in each ear would look dumb--except if you had a couple of big diamonds. Then it would be just fine.

I evened my dog collection out with four. Believe me, you're wise to get over issues with "threes". Three dogs, three kids--plenty!

  13. Rebecca Says:

I resemble quirks two and three. Just sayin'. :)

  14. anglophilefootballfanatic.com Says:

Funny I was thinking "BUT YOU HAVE THREE KIDS." before you realized it!

  15. Heather Says:

You would hate looking at my ears, 3 piercings in the left ear and one in the right. I did it in high school because I liked the way it looked on another girl.

  16. Alison Says:

I like pairs..a pair of kids, a pair of dogs, a pair of cats, a pair of reptiles...now one of our dogs died and we only have one...time to look for another...

  17. Pamela Says:

when your kids get married, you will have six.

I can't believe what a bunch of quirky people bloggers are.. ha ha
... I've done a few quirky memes, so they are out there somewhere to read.

But I didn't get back in time to really write - so I posted one of my drafts.

  18. I just realized about two weeks ago that I repeat myself too! So I analyzed myself as I was talking and I think I do it to make sure I am very clear on whatever that point is.

Or maybe I am just filling the space for conversations for which I am carrying. Who knows, but at least I am not alone, my double speaking friend.

  19. I don't mind my food touching, but I will NOT put my eating utensils on the table at a restaurant without something under them. I think that comes from working in a restaurant when I was in high school. Some of the rags used to clean the tables were disgusting.

  20. Fianna Says:

I don't think repeating yourself is a quirk. Because I do it. It is normal isn't it? Yea? Anyone?

  21. Tranny Head Says:

Ok - this is sort of random about the food touching thing, but there's this horrible children's show that comes on Noggin called "Yo Gaba Gaba" in which these weird puppety things eat and once they do, you see a "tummy cam" and you can see all the stuff dancing in the creature's tummy happily together.

    It's utterly horrifying.

    Just thought I'd share.

  22. NoFive-Oh Says:

Hah! If repeating yourself is a quirk, then I need to get on some heavier meds....
