Relax, It's Fun Monday!

This Fun Monday is being hosted by Debs who said the following:

This is my request. Show your favorite place to relax. It can be a chair, corner, ledge, or limb. :) Get out those cameras and take pics or just write how you feel when you are in your "zone".

I really relax when I am outside watering my flowers, or pulling weeds. I took a few photos before I left for my trip home to Ks. I don't have anything beautifully spectacular, I just know I feel at peace when I tend my plants. I want more next year and am already planning.

I also enjoy relaxing on my couch, sleeping in my bed, watching TV shows once the Lil' Men are sound asleep, and reading books. I will be adding a photo in the afternoon on Monday. I forgot to take it today... It is a place here in Ks that I spent many, many hrs relaxing as a child/teenager. My oldest is now trying to take it over. More on that later!

Are those geraniums a lil' sunburned? The bush to the rt got hit by the cold snap we had in spring.

"Home grown tomatoes home grown tomatoes, what would life be without home grown tomatoes?"

A little hosta that will get transplanted next spring, Mexican sage bush, and snap dragons.

My hanging petunias, I had never seen a mini version... it was love at first sight!

There's that bush again that got frost bite, I have no clue what that green redish lookin' plant is next to that bush and my black-eyed susans(which are my favorite!), some hostas, and ornamental grass that the previous owners put in... I'm not fond of the stuff.

There you have it, until I get that other picture taken.......

Like you sang, "There's only two things that money can't buy... and thats true love and home grown tomatoes."

I enjoy working in my flowers, too.
I can't see a red green plant that you mention in your picture ???

You have a very nice garden even if a couple are a little sunburnt! I can't keep flowers alive so I am always envious of people with nice gardens.

Gorgeous garden! I am pretty bad with plants so have learned to plant grasses and those spiky variegated leaf type plants, they seem to last in my garden much better.

Intresting that you find doing yard work relaxing, but I can see working with nature being relaxing. I will be back to look at your other picture.

I miss my flower garden. I always felt great coming into a cool house after being out for hours with my flowers.

I may have to put down my needle and thread, and pick up my sun hat and start digging. :)

Oh, man... I promised myself that I would get my house in shape before tackling the garden (we moved recently and the house needs WORK). But your post makes me want to get my hands dirty.... Maybe I can squeeze a little gardening in between the painting and reflooring...

All your flowers look great! I'm relaxed just looking at them.

Third picture. Mexican Sage Brush ? Yeah, right ! Giggle Giggle.
Love the pics of your garden. Nothing like those home grown maters.

I love your plants, it's really reminding me that I really need to get my garden under control!

I'm actually feeling relaxed looking at your beautiful photos.

Digging in the dirt is pure therapy - I don't get to do it often enough. Of course, that's why I pay a masseuse!

Your garden is beautiful. I'm not a big fan of gardening although I love the end result. I think I don't have enough time to enjoy it so see it as a chore, I wish I found it relaxing like you do.

I love being outside, too! Your flowers are lovely!

Makes me want to come by and have some tea on your porch!

Thanks for sharing!

Happy Fun Monday

I get a lot of thinking done when I pull weeds. I should probably do both more often. :-)

Pretty flowers!

I love working in the gardens too - it does relax.

My tomatoes have baby green ones - I can hardly wait for them to ripen.

That's a pretty good way to relax. A little too physical for me, but I can see the attraction.

Love the hosta in the bottom pic. What a pretty garden. I'd relax in mine if the rain would stop!

Beautiful flowers. I would love to grow vegetables, but am afraid I'd just kill them or our large rabbit/gopher/squirrel population would finish off what I didn't.
