Fun Monday: Fridge-a-dare

It's Monday again! I'm not filled with Fun about what Amy W at A Family Story asked of us this week. I'm even skipping the quote, the pictures tell ALL. At least I followed the "rules", I did not clean anything! I hope I get bonus points, or a cleaning lady sent to my house as a prize! NO? Oh-well it was worth a try!

So, I am taking it slow... here is the side of the fridge I see as I walk towards it.....

Here is the frontal view of my fridge.... those baggies hanging are my collection of box tops and pop tabs that I collect for the kiddos schools. 3 pictures, all of one lil' man... the other 2 haven't made me any photo magnets... but that thing hanging lowest was made by the middle lil' man, as is the glitter car in the first photo. The heart with poem and hand print in 1st photo is from #3.

Oh damn, now we are inside... top shelves....

These are directly below the ones above....

Are we done yet?

This here is the bottom half of my door, those are 2 of the 3 bottles of wine in my fridge can you find the 3rd??? NO you can't! It is stealthily hidden ( not on purpose) only I know where it is.

Oh and Fianna, Cats EAT Birds!!!! GO K-STATE WILDCATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The boring top half of my door.... Hazelnut is mine, Vanilla for the hubster.

Ok, here is where you can see my filth, in the freezer side of my fridge.....

Now we are inside the top half of my NEW upright Freezer!!! It is rather bare....

Bottom portion... you can't see it but that isn't Folgers coffee, on top of the lid is taped the logo of Chock full o'Nuts coffee ... yum yum.....

Side door of BIG freezer I guess I should have put some stuffed animals or toy cars in all the bare spots.... :)

Bottom part of freezer door... NO those are not intestines down there.... It is some damn good KS sausage.

Here is the front of my BIG freezer... and one of my favorite magnets. I bought it when I was flying back to GE when I was in KS for a visit. I always wanted my own pair so I could go home whenever I wanted.

No one can say I took the easy way out by taking minimal photos. Pretty good for a gal not excited about the assignment huh?! GO forth and look in other peoples food storage units!

At least you have something to eat at your house!

So when the big bomb drops and society breaks down, you'll be right - you won't run out of food for yonks!

For someone who didn't seem too happy about exposing your fridge contents, you sure were thorough.

BTW, what is Sunbutter?

I just noticed the post title, sheer brilliance!!!

Wow you have a well stocked fridge. I love all the magnets. I have a big collection but don't keep them on my fridge as it's inset.

Wow, loads of food. I love the bags to keep the box tops (mine are just lying around).

Go Cats! (Not that I really care, LOL!)

I thought that one guy in the back of the pickup was naked at first. I bet that's what really scarred you. Now I'm going to be singing "I Can't Drive 55" all day.

Mmmmm sunbutter... Now that I am employed (for 3 1/2 more days) I can afford it. Where do I find it again? And I was about to say it on my own site, when you have been in exile for so long, you root for any Kansas team! I will root for the Shockers if they are on! Is it wrong that I don't root for the Chiefs? Aren't they in MO, anyhoo? And I didn't realize there was a need for soy in your house?

Oh how I wish I had a 2nd freezer. I am always funning out of room in mine. I'm just a bit jealous.

Very well-stocked. I have always wanted a side by side fridge.

Happy Fun Monday!

Great Title ! You win!
I'll take the Dr. Pepper and the Wine-in-the-door.
What is Sunbutter?

beckie: really? It's just a mirage!

theotherbear: LOL, no I'd run out in a week! 3 growing boys in my house!

WT: I pride myself in being thorough...if I am nothing else I am at least thorough!!

Sun butter is just like PB but made with sunflower seeds NO peanuts! It is heavenly!
I'm blushing... thanks for your praise!

chrisb: It is just an optical illusion in an attempt to make it look stocked! It is really just a disorganized mess!! Ha! I love magnets too!

beccy: All you need is a clip with a magnet on it and a baggie and presto! All you have to do is seal it and toss in a backpack!

Jenni: yes I thought that too!

Fianna: You'll find it in a box with your name on it!
I hear you... the kiddos wore anything KS while we were in GE! They even wore Cheifs stuff but they are technically MO as are the Royals. SO no you arent wrong. No, no Soy it is Lactaid, #3 needs it. #1 and #2 grew out of it.

melanie: that is the very reason we got one. There is just no room in a freezer side of a side by side.

jenniboo: don’t do it! Sides by sides have no freezer room.

swamp witch: I win!!? Does that mean I get the cleaning lady?

OK, you can have them but you have to come over and drink them with me! There is Rita mix in there too!
Sun butter is made with sunflower seeds instead of peanuts and it is delicious!

A very complete survey of your cooling quarters. You get an A+ on this Fun Monday assignment. We have received that very Kansas postcard.

I love your refigerator art; you must have very talented children.

You need to buy a wine fridge :).

I love the kids artwork on the fridge. And dude, I'm hungry now after peeking in your fridge.

What a brillant idea for Box tops, I'm always wondering what to do with them.

Your fridge looks fine to me.

The stealth bottle of wine is one of those tiny bottles behind the butter.

Your title fits perfect.
Happy Fun Monday!

I love all the decorations on your fridge.

I sure miss having little kids if only for the art work on my fridge. Love little kid art work! A well stocked fridge for sure.

tiggerlane: UNITE!!!

mjd: Awww thank you, it has been a very LONG time since I got an A+!
The Ks postcard on the side or the front?
Well if you ask me yes I do but I think it is really due to extremly creative and talented teachers!

amyw: don't tease me... I have a whole cabinet full of wine!

nikki: Thank you! All that food and I didnt cook tonight, there was plenty of leftovers in there!

christine: Thank you Thank you!
No the stealth wine is not behind the Country Crock butter, nor is it behind the jar of Sun Butter. Good try!

sallad and joyt: Thank you! I have plenty of artwork to go around, just let me know if you want some!

I noticed the title, too.
nice play on words.

I just tried almond butter for the first time... it's okay. Now I MUST try sun butter.

Damn y'all have a lot of food. If you need any meat, give Fianna a call. She's well stocked up. I guess you'd be surprised at how much milk I have in my fridge for a single gal with no kids. Two gallons right now and I'll need more by the weekend.

Anonymous said...

So why are you hiding that other bottle of wine anyways?

Sunbutter sounds devine. I'll have to keep an eye out for some. We have some soybutter...meh...

Kaytabug said...

pamela: Thank you! Oh, almond butters got nothing on sun butter!!

SS: I am surprised that one gal can go thru so much milk! You must be one of those milk lovers!

susan: I am not hidding a bottle of wine! I ran out of room in the door and wanted that one chilled as well as it was different from the other 2.
Sun butter is devine! soy butter sounds nasty. Some stores now have a whole section dedicated to natural organic stuff not that it is organic but I found it there. Saving WT if he comes back here... but it is orgasmic!!
