I passed a bar/club on the way to the pumpkin patch that had declared: Sexiest Costume Contest $300. Immediately I said Oh oh!!! I could so do that for 300 bucks!!! For a split second I started to think about what I would wear and then it hit me, NO! It bitch slapped me. Reality really does bite. It took a chunk out of my ass is what it did. I sunk down in my drivers seat and sulked.
Even if my hubby still finds me sexy a bar full of young 20-somethings will NOT find me sexy. I'm not being down on myself, this is the truth folks. Sure I might still be able to turn a few heads, I still have my own sexiness, but not enough to appeal to the masses. Even though in my head I still sometimes see myself as the 20-something hot babe, it is just that-all in my head...not on the outside anymore. This revelation made me extremely sad. It made me think back to a time when I came in second in a sexiest costume contest. The only reason I lost was my male friend went all Chippendale, ripping off his jean shorts revealing just his boxers and a bow tie. I had that contest in the bag til he came up on the stage. I guess it didn't help that the bar we were at was a gay bar, he and I were straight as were many, many other people but the straight women and gay men must have had more #'s that night than the straight men and lesbians. Sigh.
1st place:
2nd place:

Yes, I am aware that my costume looks rather normal, but back in 1994 it wasn't quiet the norm yet. Anyone care to take a guess as to what I was? Yes that's right I actually had a name for what I was dressed up as.
I'd tell ya I'd send ya something if you get it right, cuz no one is going to get this one, but I have no $$ to buy anything. That's why I wanted to enter the contest. I could really use the 300 bucks. You and me and just about everyone else could use the extra cash right now, with the economy the way it is now. But I would not hesitate for one second to shake what Momma gave me for $300, that is if I still had it.

Wowzer Kaytabug!!!! I don't have a guess as to what you were dressed up as but you certainly should have won.

What's with all the deleted comments?
One of the saddest days of my life is when I realized I was too old to ever be the hot mama that I was in my mind's eye. Oh the disappointment. Although I have to say there are some pretty hot 50 something ladies out there. I know, I know - 50 something hot is not the same as 20 something hot.
I'm banking on love, happiness and contentment to take me through.
Wah, Wah, Wah could I have made this ANYMORE about myself - don't answer that.
Dude, your legs are amazing!!!
I have recently been feeling the exact same way! I'm def not a size 2 any longer. There is not a chance in hell I'd turn ANY heads, so mom of 3, you def have me beat. And, the chippendale aspect is cheating. You wuz robbed.
Girlfriend, you were straight robbed. Gay bar or not!
those legs are amazing. I think I hate you now :-) LOl. You are HAWT!
I've met you in person. I think you could still pull that costume off and possibly even win. I agree you were robbed back then. I'm a straight woman, but I'm an honest woman. I would have voted for you.
As to whether or not you could turn the heads of 20-something guys, well, I think you could. Older women have something on those little 20-something poptarts anyway. We may not have the same flat little tummies we did at 20, but there is something to be said for experience and the fact that women peak sexually a little later than men.
Geeze - your legs go on forever.
I almost competed in a wet t-shirt contest once but chickened out at the last minute.
Boy that "reality check" thing hits a nerve. Can totally relate.
Do love those legs, girl!!
Definitely a hot pic here! Hot Goth Woman?
You still have it babe, you just keep it undercover now.
