Fun Monday Photo's

This weeks hostess is the lovely Angela from The Lurchers. She has asked to see our favorite photograph and for us to tell you why it is out favorite. She did say that it could be photos we have taken or a photo someone else took. Since I will not be able to choose just one it will be a lil of both!

I am very sentimental. I could share photos of family members and it wouldn't mean Jack to you. I have many photos of loved ones that mean the world to me. Here are just a few of those.
My Grandpa P.(P for paternal)

My first born, his First Birthday. This is my favorite photo from that day.

My paternal Grandparents and myself on one of the cross country trips they took me on.

Pictures tell my life story. Granted they are mostly filled with shinny happy moments, but they still remind me of days gone by, moments in time that I have long since forgotten. My memory is not that good so mostly what I remember of my childhood is from the photos that I have. Photos are worth more than gold to me. This assignment is reminding me that I have not been taking as many photos as I should or would like to! I would love to share more but I just can't narrow them down to a top 10 even. Go back to Aoj's and see everyone else's favorite pictures.

Out of all things precious to me, I believe my photos are the most treasured...I love what you put here.

Photos have that great ability of being beautiful for the memories that they hold. Yours certainly fall into that category.

Some photos can bring back so much. Imagine my surprise at my cousin confessing to breaking into tears when I posted a teenaged photo of my brother on my blog. I never realized how important we were to her then. Her family had broken up and things weren't good and we were a sort of haven for her.

I take LOTS of pictures of my son so that he will have those memories in the future!

These are wonderful. It is true for me too that my memory is helped by photos. Have a great Monday...

I love the way you span the generations. So much family history there!
Is that a garter you're wearing? Okay...I need that.

Men in uniform are always sexy. They could be dog catchers or Donald Trump ugly and they'd still be sexy. You son's look is simply PRICELESS. His eyes and eyelashes make that whole shot.

Thank you for sharing some of your life story in pictures. You are reminding me that I need to back-up my digital pictures, and convert our many slides into a diffrent format.

These are three wonderful choices … and I fully understand how pictures tell ones life story. Most of my family photos exist in photo albums created over the years that sit on book shelves and coffee tables where I can pick them up and peruse them whenever the spirit moves. My neighbor is in the process of scanning all of her photos into her computer and she plans to create DVD albums for each of her children and grandchildren … quite a task for a woman in her 70s who is just learning about computers!

I still say one is blessed to have living grandparents.

As one whose grandparents were all dead prior to my birth, I totally agree with Pamela. I also totally cherish my grandchildren!

I remember seeing that one of you and your grandparents before and how it reminded me of my own childhood with grandparents. :)

Love the eyelashes on your little one's first birthday!
